All things John, Paul, George and Ringo

Our guide from Purple Tours was Paul. He was absolutely wonderful. Paul was a treasure trove of Beatles information. The tour was a little over 4 hours but the time flew by and we were left wanting more. From standing on the spot where John and Paul first met- to seeing the homes they grew up in, walking down Penny Lane, standing outside the Cavern , and seeing Strawberry Field. I highly recommend this tour

Loved the tour

Very knowledgeable, personable and entertaining, John is clearly a pro at small group Beatles tours. We loved the more intimate environment of a small group - no big motorcoach could see and experience what we did. Small coach (15 passenger) was clean and new, making the tour all the more enjoyable.

Operator response

It is lovely to know that John’s knowledge, personality, and entertaining style helped make the tour so enjoyable, and that the clean, comfortable coach added to the experience. Paul knows his stuff - very well informed!

Our guide was Paul and we were in the McCartney group. Great way to start a Beatles tour! Got to see the childhood homes of all but George (too far away). Spent just the right amount of time at each location including Strawberry Field, Penny Lane, Rigby and Mc Kenzie cemetary plots, childhood church of meet-ups, etc. Cavern area also very interesting and well explained. We actually VISITED these areas while we saw many other tours simply drive by for photostops from inside the vehicle. Paul was very informative and shared many unknown details while allowing us to listen to some of the hits associated with the details being shared. Excellent tour!! Well worth the money. Thank you!!!

Operator response

Thank you so much for your fantastic review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour with Paul in the McCartney group and that it was such a great way to start your Beatles experience. It is lovely to know that you appreciated visiting the locations properly, rather than simply driving past, and that Paul’s knowledge, stories, and music along the way helped bring the history to life. We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation. With best wishes everyone at Purple Tours
