This is a fun and informative thing to do on a trip to Liverpool. We were staying nearby so just walked down and bought tickets for the next trip - they go every hour. The QR code lets you download an audio guide which gives information at various points and gives you a de ent start to a trip to see the length of the Docks and some useful history and information. We enjoyed the experience.
It was ok. Not sure I would go again. The coffee shop was nice.
A lovely experience in glorious sunny weather. Myself and my son sat at the top of the ferry and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. We didn't have headphones on, we just looked out and read the leaflet detailing the sights around us.
Fab cruise seeing the city from the water. Highly recommend!
Thank you for giving us 5 stars and for recommending us.
A lovely morning on the river. Really enjoyed it good QR audio links. Just feel the price could be lowe given return local users on the ferry is about £4!
Thank you for your 5 star review. The £4 price is the commuter fee as during commuter times or football matches, the vessel only takes 10 minutes to cross the river and there is no commentary . It is £14 for the 50 minute cruise with commentary.
Really disappointed, expected more, no music, no commentary, no ice cream on a really hot day, no value for money, you can do better Liverpool.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you feel disappointed. We do offer a free printed route guide at the terminal before you sail and there is commentary available if you scan the QR code. Hopefully you managed to find an ice cream at the van outside the terminal.
When in Liverpool you have to “cross the Mersey”. Bought combination ticket on line for the 50 min cruise and discounted Beatles Museum. Excellent value. Wander down to terminal near Beatles Fab Four statue. Significant queues for ferry but easy boarding and plenty of space for all to sit on various decks. Ferry does a wander down Mersey, docks at Birkenhead for 10 mins then comes back. Good opportunity for photos and leisurely cruise. Audio tour didn’t seem to work but didn’t need it. Sat back and enjoyed the calm and views.
Thank you for the lovely 5 star review - we are glad you enjoyed your experience with us. We will pass on your feedback about the audio guide.
Very good tour, no audio commentary though was disappointed with this as would of liked to of learnt when it was first used etc.
Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed the cruise. A printed route guide is available for free at the terminal before you sail.
Probably would’ve been even better if I’d listened to the commentary but had to look after a 4 year old.
Thank you for giving us 5 stars, we do appreciate it.
Don't forget your headphones, seems a bit pointless not to broadcast the sites over the PA when they use it to start with . Forgot mine so no idea how good the trip was historically
Thank you for your review. You can also scan the QR code and read the commentary , or listen to it when you get home.
