Lipari - Panarea - Stromboli by night

This was a great day trip. It was long, 12 hours, but well worth it. The only minor quibble would be that it would have been nice to have a longer stop at Lipari as we didn't have time for lunch and the museum, which looked interesting. We also felt a little rushed on Stromboli with less than 2 hours to look around and have dinner. There isn't much to do on Panarea, but it is still interesting to stop there and see how different each island is. Overall, this is well worth it and with the climax of seeing Stromboli coughing up some lava opposite a stunning sunset, it was an experience that we will never forget.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this tour, especially to English-speaking travellers. The tour is advertised as providing information in Italian, German and English, but the difference was striking. The explanations in Italian and German were often around 15 minutes long, while the English version was usually reduced to one or two sentences, sometimes leaving out essential practical information. This became a serious problem in Lipari. We were told in English that the departure was at 14:45, but the exact reboarding point was not clearly communicated. We returned to the port around 14:30 – 15 minutes early – but the boat was not there. Thinking we might be at the wrong Marina Corta, we started looking for the correct location. We contacted the operator for help, but instead of receiving clear directions, the situation became even more confusing. We were given misleading information about supposedly changing boats and were subsequently sent several unclear or incorrect locations. Despite actively trying to find the boat and contacting the operator for assistance, we eventually missed the departure. As a result, we completely missed Panarea, one of the three main destinations included in the tour. We had to find Liberty Lines ourselves and pay an additional €33.64 for two ferry tickets to reach Stromboli and continue our trip independently. Unfortunately, the organisational problems continued in Stromboli. The departure time changed several times, and when we specifically requested an exact meeting location to avoid another problem, we were again sent an incorrect location. We paid €67.43 per person for this excursion. At this price, I expect clear instructions, accurate meeting points and adequate communication in every language advertised – particularly when incorrect or missing information can result in passengers being left behind. The islands themselves are beautiful, but the organisation and English-language communication were extremely disappointing and caused unnecessary stress, additional expenses and the loss of an entire stop on our itinerary. I would not recommend this tour to English-speaking travellers unless the operator significantly improves its communication and organisation.

And here I am, for the third consecutive year, experiencing this splendid mini-cruise! I have already visited all the islands far and wide, but returning is always a pleasure, especially when the shipping company is a true guarantee for your trip. In my opinion, Salvadori Navigazione stands out for professionalism, punctuality, cleanliness, courtesy, and competence. The explanations provided during the tour and on the islands visited are always clear, interesting, and complete. Compliments to the entire staff: friendly, knowledgeable, and always available. A special thanks to Captain Mirko, a true guarantee, to Angela and Sara, always kind and available, to the manager, and to all the sailors, always ready with a smile and great cheer. It is precisely the combination of all these qualities that makes the trip pleasant, relaxing, and unforgettable. I highly recommend the tour of the island of Lipari: you will be enchanted by it! overall could be much better. the biggest issues are 2. First, they treat people like sheeps on the way in because everyone rushing to get a proper seat. Second, no much time to visit the islands. Example Panarea 1 hr and 15 minutes. Time only for a refreshment and back again to be in front of the flock of sheep. Change this behaviour by assigning seat and you can fix both issues because people dont rush to get seat. The crew was ok

Truly excellent experience! We took the excursion to the Aeolian Islands with the Savadori company and we could not have made a better choice. The ship was large, very clean, and very comfortable, perfect for spending the day in total relaxation. The crew proved to be professional, kind, and always available to satisfy every need of the passengers. A special thanks goes to Sara, who with her courtesy, helpfulness, and friendliness made the experience even more pleasant. We also really appreciated the punctuality of the schedule and the explanations provided on board, which were always clear, interesting, and well organized. Impeccable organization from every point of view. We highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to visit the splendid Aeolian Islands in total tranquility. Definitely an experience to repeat!

A unique experience visiting the Aeolian Islands and in particular the evening eruption of Stromboli. Among all the companies, the one with the newest ships. Extreme professionalism in the onboard staff. To be repeated.

DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THIS COMPANY. I booked the tickets a month in advance online and did not have a way to visit the Aeolian Islands, because the boat had a breakdown as soon as we left the port. We practically wasted almost two hours of time going around the port only to be told that the tour would be canceled. NO explanation, “a technical problem that we will resolve in a few minutes” and that’s it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
