We did this tour directly from our hotel at Inchydoney . The tour guide was excellent. The route was brilliant. We did it with our young daughter who loved it and they took us to places that we couldn't have gone by ourselves. We wouldn't have known to go. The e-bikes are brilliant. Great quality. Highly recommend it
I cannot recommend Gormú Bike Tours enough! It ended up being just the two of us - so we got a personalized tour -skipping things we had already done and adding in others things instead. Celine was a delightful guide - looked after us really well, guaged our abilities and a fount of information and entertainment! Actually wouldn't mind doing one of their swimming g and sauna trips either!! Next time! Oh - and the bikes were the BEST! Belt technology! No clunky gears!

My wife and I wanted to book a tour that would help us feel more connected to nature, local people, and history as we took in cork and the wild Atlantic way. The Gaelic Grandeur tour with Conor and Celine provided more than we could have ever hoped for. After booking, Conor reached out to learn a bit about us: what we were looking to get out of the trip and how physical we wanted the outing to be. We connected right away over a good laugh. He took this and designed a beautiful day of e-biking, walking, local food, and sites that took us through stunning cliffs and beaches, rolling hills and streams, and ruins spanning millennia. He even sent us a Kamoot map with pictures so we could see what was planned (HIGHLY RECOMMEND this app for general hiking/walking planning in Ireland/UK). Not only is he knowledgeable about the local ecosystem and the history of his native cork… he’s also an expert in Irish place names and folklore (and is a seasoned storyteller!). This layer was a major highlight not just of the day but of our entire trip. As for food, we started the day with Celine’s oat cookies still warm out of the oven and dipped into fresh coffee on a beach. We stopped for another coffee and delicious cakes at the wonderful Fish Basket and earned a beautiful seafood lunch overlooking the castlehaven harbor (like a painting!). A sauna ritual with ocean dips had us in a trance as we ended the day wrapped in blankets and listening to the waves tickle the shore at golden hour. Feeling the best kind of tired... we wound down with wonderful chat whilst eating local berries and cream (they even had a little surprise for us as it was our anniversary). They thought of every detail and have spared absolutely no expense with the best of the best gear and bikes to make our day as comfortable as it was rewarding. The next day we received loads of pictures and video that Conor and Celine had taken - something they offered so that we could simply be mindful and enjoy the adventure especially while riding. I cannot recommend booking this beautiful private tour enough and we hope to be able to experience their warm hospitality again in the future!! Thank you so much!!
My boyfriend and I went with another (middle-aged and queer) couple on this and had an amazing time. Conor was warm, easygoing, friendly, and a very engaging teacher with excellent storytelling chops. The ride was gorgeous, ranging over farmlands, down little lanes we never would have discovered ourselves, went up and down rolling hills and along the coast, and the bikes made it all easy (and two of us were e-bike first-timers and one of us is not a regular cyclist at all). We learned a lot about Irish history, got a nice workout, saw some lovely countryside (and as a bonus had some delicious treats at the cafe) but most of all just really appreciated Conor's knowledge and generosity of spirit. Highly recommend.
What an adventure we had with Celine! This was an excellent way to see the nooks and crannies of beautiful Leap, Ireland. Celine was an amazing host, filling us in on stories from the past as we rode through trails and hills for four hours. Our teenage sons loved their first e-bike tour and had no problem getting used to the bikes. You do need to have a good level of fitness as the hills can be a bit strenuous at times, even with the e-bike. I highly recommend this experience. It was absolutely amazing, and we are still talking about it!
Our family ended up having our own eBike adventure with the lovely Conor. He was a wonderful story teller, very knowledgeable about the rich Irish history, and even managed to get me a jacket from a local coffee shop to borrow as it was cold! This is truly a beautiful way to see and feel the culture. Can’t get it in a car. Would do again and again! Thank you Conor!!

A MUST DO if you're travelling around County Cork - worth stopping into Union Hall just for this. We did the 40km eBike tour and were blown away by the beauty of the local area and Conor's incredible knowledge of local history and folklore, all told with a big dose of Irish charm. The ebikes are top notch - making even the steepest hills manageable. You can adjust the boost to give yourself a bit of a workout or effortlessly glide along as you fancy. This was a real highlight of our week sailing around County Cork - don't miss out. For the best experience, make sure to add on the Bioluminescence swim tour. It's the BEST way to experience this magical phenomenon - sparkles galore, warm wetsuits and a gorgeous smoke fire fire to warm your body while the Irish stories warm your soul. A wonderful adventure I’ve been coming to rosscarbery for 34 years I’ve seen places with this tour I had never seen before Conor is a fountain of knowledge and a great tour leader 100/ per cent recommend this activity if u have a few days to spare
