Layover Guided Tour To Giza Pyramids

We had a great experience with Sam during our visit to Old Cairo and Khan El Khalili. Sam was very professional, kind, knowledgeable, and always available to make sure we had a great experience. He showed us around the different parts of Khan El Khalili and gave us very interesting explanations about the history of the area, the local culture, and the life of the Pharaohs. We really enjoyed learning about the places we were visiting, and he was always happy to answer our questions. He also recommended Café El-Fishawi and Naguib Mahfouz Café, which were both great recommendations and wonderful places to experience the atmosphere of Khan El Khalili. What we appreciated most was Sam’s professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness. He really took the time to make our visit enjoyable and memorable, especially while we were with our children. Thank you, Sam, for your time, your knowledge, and for making our visit so special. We highly recommend Sam to anyone visiting Cairo. We would be very happy to see him again on our next visit!

The experience was fantastic. Sam was the perfect guide. He took time to explain each step of the tour and tailored the whole experience to our requirements. His flexibility was quite welcome. He was so familiar with key people at each stage which we believed was responsible for the friendly hospitality that followed us everywhere. I had the fortune of having Sam as my guide and Saeed driving us around. Sam reached out a day before my arrival to set up a meeting point right outside the airport. He was incredibly detailed, patient, and helpful, tailoring the tour to our interests. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and never rushed to end the tour early, which was very nice. Sam was the embodiment of hospitality, and having him around was the best part of the trip. I’m definitely coming back to Egypt and having him show me around the whole city!

He went above in beyond in all that he did— proactively offered to take photos and shared poses at all stops, provided recommendations for all things in Cairo, and of course, detailed explanations of the history. If you have the chance to come to Giza, please ask for Sam. You will no doubt have an unforgettable experience.

Sam was an excellent tour guide for our day trip to the pyramids of Giza. He was very friendly, always respectful of our time and was very efficient in taking photographs at the different sites. He took selfies with me and even walked to get us Falafel at his own expense as a gesture to welcome us to Egypt. He shows a great degree of passion for his job and was very knowledgeable about sharing his knowledge of Egyptian history with others.

Excellent experience, from the pick-up at the hotel, there is a scheduled time, to the tour itself, the lunch very delicious, and especially our guide SAM, who was very attentive, explaining every detail of the tour, very professional and always ready to take some questions and answering the questions, always taking time for us.
