Our classes are fun and informal experiences intended to introduce the culturally curious to the history and arts of Hawaiʻi. Our instructors love talking story and sharing not only the craft but the culture and history of Hawai’i and weaving. Our spacious facility also offers our colorful museum of costumes and dance implements from Hawai'i's multicultural heritage. We are located in Central Maui. The Queen Ka'ahumanu Center not only features shopping but also a food court and local restaurants.

The meeting point is We are located inside the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center. Enter from the front of shopping center. Take the escalator or elevator up to the 2nd floor. Wonderful World of Aloha is located to the LEFT of the Fun Factory arcade. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Fantastic experience. We learned a ton about local Hawaiian culture while making the bracelets. The girl who led our class was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to learn about Hawaiian culture and make a cool keepsake to bring home

Took the family for bracelet making class, everyone except the 6 year old enjoyed the class. My 6 year old is very crafty but this is a bit advanced for her. Wish the instructor had given her something easier to do or personally helped her with her bracelet. Otherwise we all had a great time and learned a great deal.
Aloha, We do apologize that your 6 year old was not able to participate in this class. We would like to note that our classes are free to children 12 and under and this class is designated as best for children 8 and up. We usually provide drawings for coloring to keep younger keiki entertained when necessary, not sure why that wasn't offered during your class, we will be sure to offer that to future guests. Was a fun and informative experience! We learned how to weave and made our own Hawaiian souvenirs! Ku’ulei was personable and a wonderful teacher. She shared some Hawaiian history with us, and we wondered through a small museum at the back.

We had an amazing time and left with a beautiful bracelet as a token of our special time with Koo. She was a wonderful teacher and a fountain of historical information! Would highly recommend this activity to other moms and daughters!

Fun getaway from the outdoor heat of the day.Teacher was patient and engaging. They even waited for us as we got lost in the mall tryi g to find the location. Nice to hear about the Hawaiian culture. The facility houses interesting history and costumes of the Hawaiian predecessors. Our bracelets came out unique and different from one another but al beautiful. Very relaxing and satisfying to leave with a laulau bracelet.

I've lived here for years and just discovered this amazing cultural opportunity. We learned so much about the culture, and the kumu was very patient and helpful! This is a must do when visiting Maui!!

The women teaching the class were so informative explaining where the material for the bracelet comes from and the history behind it. Very fun and patient with showing how to weave the leaves. My sister and I had a great time.

What an enjoyable time we had and learned so much about the culture, the island of maui and how to weave a bracelet. The teacher was by far memorable with her stories, skills ! Place this on your list of places to visit when traveling on Maui. I would love to have the emailed classes on more bracelet making when they are ready. Thank you for this option.
