Lapa – Night Life Tour in Rio

The tour was super pleasant, fun, and very well organized. The guide Anderson was extremely attentive, polite, and caring throughout the entire journey, always concerned with providing a smooth and special experience. Besides seeing incredible places, we also had great moments and learned a lot about the history and culture of Rio. Night tour with Anderson in the heart of Rio's nightlife with transportation included. We had a wonderful experience, living the Carioca nightlife, first with a Samba roda and later in a funk club. Beyond the fun, Anderson illustrated the history of Samba to us and what this means for a Carioca. It was engaging. Anderson was always with us, conveying that sense of security that social media destroys with so much psychological terrorism. It was a perfect evening, experienced with peace of mind.

Wonderful experience, Anderson came to pick us up directly from our hotel, explained the history of how Samba was born and other very interesting things, took us to Lapa to let us hear the real music and Brazilian vibes... we had so much fun dancing and drinking caipirinhas and we never felt in "danger". thank you so much Anderson you are a fantastic person!

The experience at Lapa was amazing, full of music and life, and seeing the funk dance at Rocinha was something unique — a true cultural immersion. At no time have we had problems; everything worked perfectly. I recommend too for those who want to live the night in an intense, safe and well-accompanied way. Very good experience, since you make the trip alone, and the idea was to go to areas where the nightlife was, so, it is not recommended to do it alone. I had your company at all times, agreed to my schedules, and super friendly.

It was my second time in Rio, but my first time experiencing the nightlife of Rio. I booked this tour thinking it was going to be a bar hooping experience, and was curious but not really excited since that is not my type of activity. Instead Anderson, delivered a cultural experience. I learned the why if the things I was going to experience, and then took us to the birthplace of Samba, and lived the night the Rio way. I had to cut short my adventure because I was leaving the next day, but I found one other reason to return to Rio. I need to experience their driving force, sustained by the resistance of the “ negros esclavizados” in their drive to live free, and that you can only experience it at night in Rio.

Despite a small mishap, the company was able to find a solution quickly. Matheus was our guide and he was so personable and fun. I enjoyed my experience.

Anderson was AMAZING! I had such a great time bar hopping in Lapa. By the end of the night I felt like one of the locals. Anderson was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that I was having a good time even in the rain. Maybe a little too much fun.. I woke up with a hangover :). As a solo traveler wanting to experience nightlife and not have to worry about safety this experience was A+..
