This food tour was well thought out and had a good variety of food and venues in the Lake Tahoe area. The restaurants we visited were within walking distance is each other. The food at all the restaurants we went to was delicious! It was fun meeting other attendees of the tour and I learned a little history of the area from the tour operator. I am so glad I did the food tour and highly recommend it!

We enjoyed the mix of local history along with the walking tour of international flavors that the restaurants provided. Brian was engaging and made it easy for us to connect with the other travelers in the group. Have a nice day. My friend who is not a "foodie" was trying some flavors and dishes for the first time and Brian made her feel comfortable. I would recommend this experience and recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and dressing in layers.
Food was wonderful. There is some walking involved, so wear comfy shoes. Some of the food may be spicy, so be prepared. Everything was good and enjoyed the evening!

I make a point of taking food tours when I travel and have done them in several places throughout the U.S. and internationally. This was my favorite. The food was excellent, varied and clearly selected for quality—not generic tourist food. The pacing was also exceptionally well done. We never waited around for food, never felt rushed, and the portions were just right. I finished completely satisfied without feeling uncomfortably stuffed. The small-group format was a HUGE plus for me. Our group was just three guests plus Bryan, the owner, which made the entire evening incredibly personal. Bryan is warm, laid-back and passionate about his business, and his culinary experience and relationships with local chefs give him great insight into Tahoe's food scene. He wasn't simply “guiding” us from restaurant to restaurant; he talked and laughed with us and genuinely became part of the group. I also loved walking between stops. It was an easy, comfortable amount of walking and gave us time to enjoy Tahoe, get some fresh air and have a nice break between courses. I booked this as a solo traveler and ended up getting along so well with the other couple that we went kayaking together the following morning! By the end of the evening, the four of us felt more like friends having a great night out than strangers who had signed up for the same tour. For the price, I thought the experience was 100% worth it. If you appreciate quality food, like discovering different restaurants and cuisines, enjoy meeting people, or are visiting Tahoe solo and want a fun social experience, do this tour.
