Description
Head out from Lagos Marina into the open Atlantic to meet wild dolphins where they live. A marine biologist joins every departure, explaining the species you see and how they feed, play and travel. You sit close to the water on a fast RIB, with local skippers who know this coast and find dolphins on around 95% of trips. As an ICNF-licensed operator, we follow Portugal's rules for approaching dolphins, so every encounter stays on the animals' terms.

Dolphin watching with Seafaris is a must-do activity for anyone visiting the Algarve.
Seafaris was the first company in the Algarve to search for Dolphins in their natural habitat and our specialist team has over 25 years’ experience providing unforgettable day trips along the stunning coastline of Southern Portugal.
Feel the thrill of the wind in your face as we glide across the glistening Atlantic Ocean in search of beautiful bottlenose and common dolphins or even other different spieces of Wild life, before we gently settle amongst the pods to watch them dance and play in their natural habitat.
Our fully-certified skippers have an excellent knowledge of dolphin activity in the area, with sightings in over 95% of trips.
Tours last approximately 90 minutes, and run throughout each day from Lagos.
We recommend guests arrive at least 15 minutes before their departure time, and bring with them sun protection, water, and, of course, their camera!

Today, we saw the Orca, Magical !!
WOW! Just WOW! We went looking for dolphins, and found Orca’s!!!!! With Orca around rhere is no dolphins, but what a show the Orca put on for us. A great guide, and some great positioning from the boat pilot meant we got some close views of them without being intrusive of the wild creatures. Comfy ride, on a fast boat, Knowledgeable great information in plenty of different languages, and a trip thats not to be forgotten…. Sooooo lucky.
Absolutely worth the money.
The only downside was we had to leave the Orca as time was up!
Certainly recommend.

Unforgettable Dolphin Sightings!
What an amazing experience! We got to see pods of bottlenose dolphins up close, jumping and playing. Our guide was fantastic too!

Very good experience
We recommend this provider, we saw dolphins, it was great
What we criticize is not having had all the explanations about the dolphins in Portuguese; indeed, we had chosen a Portuguese guide but they only spoke to us once in Portuguese, after that it was English
One of the guides even told us that we had to speak English, everyone speaks English here, yet we were in Portugal...!!

Don't overthink- just book it.
This was the MOST fun. I can't recommend this tour enough. It was great being out on the water but the amount of dolphins we saw who were all putting on a total show for us...WOW! We must have seen 100 +. Every single one of us (ages 50-10) enjoyed every second of it and couldn't get enough of the dolphins. Our guides: Rafa and Anna were INCREDIBLE and so knowledgeable. Anna shared so many new things about dolphins that I never knew and being a big dolphin fan my whole life- that was very impressive! This is a MUST to do on your trip. Don't think twice.

Highly recommend!
Went with our 4 and 6 year old, the crew were very friendly and ensured the little one’s safety; seating them appropriately and preparing them for the amazing speed the boat goes! The crew were very professional and found a large number of beautiful dolphins for us to see. Highly recommend this tour!

A really beautiful experience! Highly recommended
It was a wonderful experience.
We were there as a family.
They made a great effort so that we could see the dolphins!
Yes, it was a bit loud in the back of the boat, but the guide came back to us again and explained everything again for us!
We would book it again!

An unforgettable experience for the whole family! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We loved the experience with the Seafaris! The staff was extremely friendly and professional. We were lucky to see dolphins in their natural habitat, which made the experience even more special and unforgettable for adults and children! We highly recommend visiting the Algarve. Definitely an experience to repeat!

Fantastic boat trip 5 of 5
We didn’t sow any dolphins but it didn’t matter much, fantastic boat trip in pretty high waves made the trip a real roller coaster ride which everyone in the family thought was super fun. Thanks to a skilled captain, it never felt scary.
