The knife crafting workshop was a wonderful experience. We learned all about knife sharpening while honing our own skills with the blades. Shout out to our instructor Rick, who was encouraging, informative, and genuinely excited for the result of our work. Finally, for the price, you can’t beat it. For 35 US you walk away with a brand new carbon steel knife and the knowhow to maintain it. For a slight increase (like 30 more) you can get specialty handles, engraving and special knives! Highly recommend!!
Nour was very detailed and thorough with his explanations! He was very easy to talk to and so knowledgeable. This was a very memorable experience in Kyoto, I highly recommend for other travelers.
