This was a fantastic way to get great insight and knowledge into the habitat and creatures along the Kuranda River. Our guide was outstanding, passionate and knowledgable about the history and inhabitants along the river. Seeing the turtles was wonderful and gaining more insight into the behaviour of the small Crocs was really educatonal. Well worth the investment of dollars and time. :)
Great little trip . Very informative and tour guide was 10/10. Highly recommend.
Our riverboat tour guide (Andrew) did a fantastic job in pointing out and discussing the wildlife and providing historical and local information.
Thanks very much Wayne for your review! I'm glad you found your cruise with Andrew enjoyable.
Had a great time, operator was very informative, relaxing cruise in the river. Saw a lot of wildlife. The only drawback was the amount of stairs to get back to the car parking area,. Would highly recomend
Thanks very much for your review. I'm glad you would highly recommend the cruise. The stairs are an issue but that's the only way to access our jetty.
Great experience, the guide was excellent and we learnt a lot and saw a lot sea snake, turtles, little crocodiles, birds etc. Only thing there are a lot of stairs to get to the wharf.
Thank you very much for your kind review. I'm glad you had a great experience. Yes, there are a lot of stairs down to the river from the Kuranda Railway Station and sadly it is the only way to get there. In the wet season the river can rise a great deal submerging the last flight of stairs!
Fantastic experience, both operator was very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer questions. Thank you so much.
Thank you very much Jody for your review. I'm glad you found the experience lovely and relaxing.
I saw many crocs, turtles, fish and bird. best commentary of any tour i've done in 3 weeks and $$$ of dollars of experiences. The captain was excellent with so many cool facts. would definitely do it again

Very informative and interesting
Thank you very much for your review.
A lovely little tour, definitely worth doing. You get to see a very different viewpoint than the skyrail, train or riverside walk, accompanied by a family of Welcome Swallows. Our guide Andrew was really knowledgeable and friendly. We could have stayed all day!
Thanks very much Adam for your great review! Definitely the best perspective of Kuranda is on the river surrounded by beautiful scenery and the possibility of seeing some of the wildlife in their natural habitat.
A very nice ride down the river, saw some fresh water crocs and heaps of turtles and fish. Learnt a lot about the rainforest and history about the area and river. Guide was very knowledgeable and great value for money :)
