Krka Waterfalls half day, Private Tour from Sibenik
Description
Discover the natural beauty of Krka National Park with a guided tour from Sibenik. See the park’s famous Skradinski buk waterfalls, stop at stunning viewpoints and walk along wooden footpaths between the falls, lakes and trees. After the walk in the park, you will visit the small town of Skradin. You can get there with our vehicle or you can choose to enjoy a boat ride in the river canyon (no extra charge for the boat). After the short sightseeing of Skradin you can optionally take a coffee/beer break or free time for lunch. After that, return to Sibenik. Entrance tickets to the national park aren’t included in the tour, you pay them on spot.

Skradinski buk waterfalls is the most visited part of the park where you enjoy together with your guide a nice walk on the wooden footpaths between the waterfalls, lakes and trees. You can also discover travertine barriers and explore the old watermills, traditional crafts and see some of park`s flora and fauna. After the walk in the park you can enjoy a nice 20 minutes boat ride to a small picturesque town Skadin.
After the walk in the park you can take a boat ride and arrive to a picturesque small town of Skradin where you will have a short walk and if you want you can have free time for a drink or lunch.

Pickup Locations & Times
If you come with the cruise ship to the port of Sibenik, the meeting point will be outside the restricted area, 100 meters from the ship. It is an easy straight walk out the cruise port area. We will send you the location and a photo. Drop off will be right to the ship. If you come to the small port Zablace (Viking Mira and Vesta) then pick up and drop off right where the tender boats drop you off. If you do not come with the cruise ship, we can pick you up wherever in the Sibenik area. Start for this excursion is not available from the islands. - The walk in the park is aprox. 2 km. At one point there are about 100 steps down with hand rail. If you have a mobility scooter then it is possible to see just one part of the part. Contact us for details.

Mirko was great we had a scheduling issue and he happily worked around it. He also took us to his favorite lunch spot which was awesome. During lunch he also gave us a little history about Croatia and his experience.

Mirko met us exactly where we planned. The vehicles were cool and spacious for our scenic trip to the Kyrka Waterfalls. Mirko shared his knowledge of Croatia along the drive as well as all the history and lore of the waterfalls and the park. The flora and fauna were unforgettable and Mirko knew the names of all the little creatures. He took us to lunch at a local spot were we had authentic hospitality, great local food and genuine smiles..the pride these team members take to create unforgettable moments.It is evident that exceptional service isn’t simply a standard here-it is part of the culture. Our guide Mirko was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely flexible on our trip to the falls. It was an amazing day! it was a hot day so he let us stop to swim at the local beach, we wanted to return to split so he drove us personally there rather than us getting an Uber from the hotel, we also were interested in visiting a winery so he took us to a family-run winery for a tasting;)

Krka Waterfalls are absolutely beautiful! We ended up having a private tour based on or group size (6). Our guide, Mirko, was the best guide of all our tours during our vacation. He treated us like close friends. He was very knowledgeable of the park, took us on a leisurely stroll and pointed us to the best spots for photos. We then took a boat ride to town where he recommended we sample the local cake - yum! Mirko joined us for coffee and cake, drove us around Šibenik and gave us some advice for meandering on our own and how to get back to our ship. it was an absolutely wonderful afternoon. The town was immaculate, safe and clean. We did some shopping and grabbed a gelato and a baklava before heading back to the ship. Do not miss this tour if you are in the area. Thank you Mirko! You made our vacation.

We opted to change our tour from Krka to walking the historic center of Sibenik. We changed since we had visited Plitvice National Park the day prior. Mirko our guide was very understanding and accommodating. It was a beautiful day with Mirko as he shared his knowledge and love of Sibenik. We had wonderful stops along the way visiting the truffle store and cafes where we enjoyed the local wines and specialties of the area. Thanks again Mirko for the most beautiful day!
