Day trip Krka Waterfalls and Šibenik

We booked this as a luxury private tour but unfortunately it was one of the most stressful travel experiences we have had and did not reflect the service advertised. The driver was around 20 minutes late he was friendly and polite fbut in practice the service was no more than a taxi service to and from the boat terminal. We were not provided with a private guide, any meaningful assistance, route guidance or accompaniment during the visit . Once we arrived at the boat terminal we were left to manage alone. The vehicle was an older Mercedes B-Class with very limited rear legroom it did not have the advertised Wi-Fi USB charging points of bottled water. No water was offered at any point. The most serious issue was inaccurate and inadequate accessibility information before the trip I told Vinko in writing that I have a disability a knee injury and cannot walk too much. I specifically asked how much walking would be involved I was like to believe that they would be only a short walk of around 10 minutes after the boat journey. I reality reaching the Falls involved more than five hundred steep steps I had to stop and start repeatedly because of my knee injury my partner also has refrigeratory issues and was adversely affected by the unexpected exertion. Had we been given clear information about the number and the steepness of the steps we would never have booked to this trip. We were also required to pay separately for both tickets in order to continue out of total cost of 80 euros. The booking information was unclear and inconsistent one part of the documentation stated that National Park tickets were not included while the itineries stated that National Park tickets were included - this made it very difficult to understand in advance what was actually included in the advertised price and what extra costs we might have to pay. Because of the severe difficulty caused by the steps and the impact on both of us we had to cut the visit short and were unable to continue with the plant National Park part of the journey and the trip to the town the driver was personally pleasant but friendliness does not make up for the missing advertised facilities, the lack of a guide, the unexpected costs and the misleading information about accessibility and lack of guide as advertised. Although the natural setting is attractive the final experience did not justify the physical difficulty for us after the Unexpected demanding climb as steep steps the viewpoint was not what we had been led to expect and given the mobility and respiratory issues the visit was more stressful than enjoyable. I witnessed many people having the same issues and I particularly felt sorry for mothers with pushchairs who had no idea what there were in for when they got off the boat. Not worth 340 euros. I would not recommend this tour to anyone with mobility difficulties knee problems respiratory issues or anyone expecting the luxury private guided experience advertised it is far from the truth.

The private car was nice. Waterfalls were BEAUTIFUL! He took us to a wonderful beach and had a lot of info in Sibernik. I had a good time. It’s not a tour so much as it is someone driving you to destinations. We enjoyed it a lot.

Our guide was awesome! When he picked us up, he asked what we were interested in and made a personalized trip. Krka and the waterfalls were incredible. We had lunch and wine tasting in a family run place in Skradin. Then explored Trogir and learned about the history of Dalmatia. This day was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Highly recommend!

Vinko is so friendly and easy to talk to. He made sure that we were doing everything we wanted to do, on our own time. We really enjoyed getting to know him. Vinko did an excellent job. He’s so talented, smart and he took care of honoring my desires of excelente sea food restaurant , safe driving and great ideas to enjoy a perfect relaxing day.

Waterfall area was beautiful. Our driver Vinko was Very flexible and knowledgeable about the area. He brought us to 2 small villages and a hill which has a panoramic view of Croatia and the many islands. Fantastic day!

Had a lovely day at krka waterfalls and trogir. Vinko organised everything and took all the hassle out of the trip. Highly recommend. Got some local tips and insight into croatian culture and some fun chats. Whole day was amazing. We were small group of 7. What vinko provides is perfect for a small group trip. So much better than getting on a big coach trip

We had a fantastic day out with Vinko! Went to visit Krka waterfalls with scenic boat ride & Trogir old city for our group of 7, including children/teens. It was easy to book, flexible to meet our needs and a great price for a private hire. Van was nice & plenty of room for luggage, good for airport transport too. Vinko sorted all our tickets for the national park so we could just relax & enjoy our trip. Highly recommend booking a trip/transfer with Vinko, very reliable, great communication & super fun!

Such an amazing place , and what a travel agent/taxi we had probably one of most memorable holidays travelling around with a local who made us feel welcome and safe
