Kona Coffee Farm Tour

Excellent and highly recommended! What an excellent value and fantastic tour. Our tour guide was a gentleman who has been working that farm for many years. He gave us a personal tour (there were 4 of us) and explained all about coffee growing, harvesting, drying and roasting. He began by showing us the real coffee trees and how to determine the best ripe berries for picking. He was able to show us the equipment used for each stage and we got to "rake" the beans that were drying. He answered all of our questions with patience (we had many). He was friendly and his knowledge and expertise was really evident. At the end we were able to taste 3 of their coffees. This is the type of tour that makes me really appreciate the product and I felt really good about purchasing from them.

Informative tour of a top-maintained coffee farm. In addition to the coffee plantations, there were other plants/fruits to see. It was also possible to taste as much coffee as desired. Highly recommended!

Bryce was an amazing guide and definitely helped make this tour fun and memorable! The grounds are beautiful and all of the staff were very welcoming. There were plenty of coffee samples upon arrival as well as some chocolate samples. We enjoyed learning about Kona coffee and would recommend this tour to others!

It’s a little out of the way but totally worth it. The tour guide was very informative and fun . Everyone I met there were super nice and friendly. Definitely recommend!!

We were greeted with a plethora of samples. I was impressed with how knowledgeable our tour guide was about not only coffee but the environment of the Big Island in which it was grown. And he knows how to take great photos! You must try the cocoa tea!

It was such a cute and fun experience. Bryce was our tour guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He took us around the farm and gave us plenty of information to take home with us. The coffee sampling was at your own leisure which was nice. We also got a sample of some delicious tea at the end of the tour. It is a nice location with a beautiful view. Would recommend.

Booked this on our last day on the Big Island and it was a great end to our vacation. The coffee samples were great to try (we loved the fire roasted) !! And we learned a lot about the process from starting a tree, all the way to the un-roasted bean. (would have also liked to hear about the roasting process). Everyone was there was friendly and our guide was very knowledgable, and entertaining. So why not a 5 ? We arrived about 30 minutes before the start time, and when chatting with one the employees, he just happened to mention our group was above average, at 13 people (no problem yet). But when our tour started ( a bit late), there were 25 people. I can only guess there were some people that showed without a reservation, and they were added on at the last minute. 25 was just too many. I could see our tour guide working hard to keep everyone together, and making sure everyone got to see the various things (kudos to him !!), but it was a hard task. As with any group there were stragglers, and people who weren't listening to his instructions...which for an anxious person like me, caused extra anxiety. They should have just had these people without a reservation wait for the next start time.
