Excellent tour...a wonderful historical perspective of the town and plenty of opportunities to sample food. Guide was amazing!!!

This tour is a unique way into the local community of Kinsale where visitors can sample the best of Irish local handmade produce. Our guides are passionate about Kinsale, its history, and its people. Quirky streets and lanes entice visitors to explore stories of unusual churches, ancient ruins, ghosts and even a giant. In this spoiled-for-choice seaside town, the streets are bustling with busy restaurants, cafes, and gastro pubs to explore after the tour.

Excellent tour...a wonderful historical perspective of the town and plenty of opportunities to sample food. Guide was amazing!!!
Our tour guide Margaret was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to not only explain the history of Kinsale, but also the history and background of the venues we visited. Having a local be our tour guide was a huge benefit as many locals said hello to Margaret and knew her well. Thank you Margaret for being so kind and welcoming. We will surely look you up when we return to spend more time in your wonderful village. We highly recommend the tour.
Hello Colleen, Thank you for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour, and Margaret was thrilled to read your feedback. What a fantastic culinary tour! Our guide Celia was knowledgeable, witty and passionate about food and the local history and culture. As we walked through the colouring streets of beautiful Kinsale, every stop came with an interesting story, lots of laughs and plenty of delicious food. Thank you Celia! Dear Janice, Thank you for the great review! I have shared your kind words with Celia—it will certainly make her day. We are so glad to hear that you and the group enjoyed the tour. regards, Frances
Celia was a wealth of knowledge and immediately felt like an old friend. Wanted to say let’s stay in touch but I know she couldn’t possibly do that with all the tourists. She was just lovely.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are delighted you enjoyed the tour and that you connected so well with Celia. Many of us remain friends with guests we connect with, so I am sure you can stay in touch with her.
Celia was a fantastic guide! The culinary experience was amazing, and Celia’s energy and personality made it a great experience! Our family of 6 really enjoyed it!
Thank you for the lovely review. We are very fortunate to have such wonderful guides. They really make the tour. Frances
We met Celia (our guide) at the Irish Welxome Center in Kinsale. She was lovely from the start. Celia was fun, knowledgeable and really allowed the group to travel at our own pace. We met some lovely people from the north of Ireland. We sampled delicious food and enjoyed the beauty of Kinsale.
Kinsale was an adorable sweet city with lots of history and personality! The food was delicious and our guide Carrie was very knowledgeable with a super personality!
Hello Annette, Thank you for the wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the tour, as that is our primary goal. We feel fortunate to have Kerry leading the tours; she is incredibly fun, sweet, and knowledgeable. We hope you will join us again for another tour in the future: https://www.bonner-travel.com/
We have done food tours in many cities, and this one in Kinsale was by far one of the best mainly due to our Tour Guide Celia. She was knowledgeable and a grand storyteller. Stories were fun yet detailed and her beautiful Irish dialect kept us riveted and entertained given what could have been an average tour. The food choices were full and flavorful and highlighted a variety of the local small restaurants. She shared her attention evenly amongst the group and made sure everyone felt comfortable and never rushed. Can’t say enough about what this tour added to our trip to Kinsale.
Hello Anne, Thank you for your wonderful review! It truly makes us happy and reflects what we strive for. We are thrilled to have Celia as one of our guides; she brings warmth and fun to the tours. We hope to see you again someday on another tour! https://www.bonner-travel.com/
Wonderful walking tour with local insight and food!
Kate was a great ambassador for Kinsale. We loved our “private culinary tour”. My only recommendation would be to explain at the beginning of the tour where we are going and what to expect.
