Once the sun sets in the Costa Rican rainforest, we start hiking and looking for exiting species of animals while the jungle takes on a totally different character.
It goes from a green cathedral-like forest, where beautiful shining blue morpho butterflies fly along small rivers, to a pitch-black jungle, filled with the sounds of millions of insects and dozens of frogs & toads.
It is the same green fascinating forest, but now it´s dark and you are ready to go find what’s out there!
It’s the best time to find, observe and photograph beautiful tree frogs, shy snakes,
colorful insects, mammals and other rainforest creatures that only come out at night.
The beautiful symphony of a tropical rainforest at night is one of the most exiting
experiences; turn off the lights for a moment and listen to all the secret sounds.
Be aware, it is quite an adventure to be in the rainforest at night.

Wonderful tour with great guide
Absolutely great tour. It was our third night hike and we saw other animals and frogs again.
Our guide Danny was very pleasant, competent and absolutely friendly. He got everyone involved and made sure everyone got something out of the tour. He also took some great pictures and shared them with everyone. We can definitely recommend this tour

Unforgettable walk through the jungle by night.
We had an absolutely remarkable experience. First of all, organisation (pick up, etc) was perfect. The atmosphere during this night walk was something we will not forget. Danny our guide showed us lots of animals: various frogs, snakes, spiders, a caiman and a racoon. This activity is something one should not miss.

Quick night tour with great guide!
Aaron was a great tour guide for our last minute booking. His ability to spot wildlife was really impressive, as we wouldn't have noticed 10% of what he found.
He was able to spot spiders, a scorpion, a number of different frogs, 2 caimans, lizards, iguanas, birds, and more. He kept us engaged and well informed along the way.

An eye for details
This was a great experience. We got so many beautiful pictures. I would recommend this to everyone. A whole different perspective from our day hike. Guide was very good at finding small hidden gems.

Interesting tour seeing lots of frogs, bird, spiders and a sleeping sloth
Interesting tour, lovely guide showing us frogs, scorpion, found a sleeping sloth on the tree, and a snake in the very end . This tour is outside Manuel Antonio park which closes at 4 pm , on a nice nearby coco plantation with a pond

Awesome Experience!
HIGHLY recommend this Jungle Night Tour!! Saw several types of frogs, a big scorpion, vine snake, and the highlight - a Velvet (Terciopelos or Fer-de-lance). Our guide, Sergio, was awesome! Be prepared for weather - we went 5/15/25 (start of rainy season) and it poured most of the tour. It was so worth the puddles in our shoes!

Beautiful place and fascinating animals
Beautiful jungle and animals. Tour guide was very nice and great at taking pictures! Also has a very good eye for catching animals and insects. We saw lots of frogs, spiders and even a viper which was amazing!

Great tour and tour guide
Sergio did a great job seeking out and explaining all of the different types of spiders, scorpions and frogs. We also saw a king fisher bird sleeping on a branch and a large viper right as the tour was ending. Sergio took the time to take pictures on everyone's phones. Highly recommend.
