Jerusalem : Private Walking Tour with A Guide (Private Tour)

The tour guide was fantastic was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had to walk around block Street to get some of the sites because of the holiday but he knew his way around. It was great.

Saba was the best tour guide I could have had! The experience was perfectly planned and all the information was well communicated.

We booked this tour because the listing clearly stated that pickup was included. We factored the travel time from Tel Aviv into the duration we paid for: we understood that it would take approximately one hour to get to Jerusalem, wanted a four-hour tour, and another hour to return. For that reason, we booked the six-hour option. The tour company confirmed our pickup location on three separate occasions. However, when we spoke with the guide, he told us there must have been a mistake because the company does not organize or coordinate pickup. We attempted to coordinate with the website to shorten the tour to four hours, but the company refused to provide a refund for the unused time “because we were in the 24 hour window.” Once the tour began, the guide was very knowledgeable and clearly had a strong understanding of the subject matter. Unfortunately, my partner and I booked the tour because we wanted to learn, and we found the guide's approach to be more like a pop quiz. When we didn't know the answers, his responses often felt patronizing rather than informative. We would have appreciated a more welcoming and educational approach, especially given that we were there specifically to learn.

Saba was an exceptional guide and one of the biggest highlights of my trip to Jerusalem. He didn’t just take me from site to site, he brought the city’s history to life in a way that was engaging, thoughtful, and easy to understand. He helped coordinate solutions, made sure I had Wi-Fi and a way to stay connected, and completely took the stress out of the situation. By the end of the day, it felt like I had spent the day with a knowledgeable friend rather than someone simply doing a job. Saba made me feel genuinely welcome in Jerusalem, and his passion for the city’s history and its people was evident throughout the entire experience. If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, patient, professional, and truly invested in giving you an unforgettable experience, I can’t recommend Saba highly enough.
