Japanese curry is a beloved comfort food enjoyed by people of all ages. In this hands-on class led by a home chef, you’ll learn how to make curry from scratch and fry perfectly crispy, golden-brown tonkatsu—all in a fun, interactive small-group setting. We provide simple, easy-to-follow recipes and share tips on how to substitute ingredients with ones available in your own country. Vegetarian options are also available—just let us know your preferences in advance. Our studio is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood in Tokyo’s old downtown district. Here, you’ll get a glimpse of everyday Japanese life. As we cook together, I hope you’ll enjoy discovering the little details that make a Japanese kitchen special. Had a wonderful time learning how to make Japanese curry and the various secret ingredients that could be used. Yuki was polite very professional and helpful.
Wow. Yuki is super friendly, explains everything, you do the whole process by yourself, and the food is just absolutely delicious.
We loved our visit at Yukis house. At first we were greeted very nicely with a cup of greentea, we felt welcomed from the very beginning. Cooking was very funny and we learned a lot. Everything was perfect, we are very thankful for the experience :) Food was delicious. Hope to be able to visit again at our next stay at Tokyo!

Yuki was extremely friendly and accommodating. She proceeded with the class even though I was the sole attendee and taught me a lot about the japanese culture as we cooked.

Very enjoyed this cooking class. The host is most accomodating and knowledgible. Even though I had already tried my hands on Japanese Curry, I could learn plenty of new things. Also the sesame pickled green beans were delicious.
