Jaipur: Private Half/Full-Day Sightseeing by Car with Guide

I went with two of my business friends from China who wanted to see jaipur and Shikhar made sure we feel absolutely home. From helping us find the best shops without touristy pushy sales person, to making sure we eat well he was an absolute delight. Oh I told him the scent (ittar he's wearing is great) I need to buy. But we didn't have time. Guess what our parting away gifts were the same ittars. Thank you

I am a solo female traveler. I had such a great time and can't recommend Shakeer enough, he made Japuir unforgettable, very kind and helpful!

We had a great time with Shakeer painting some pottery and he took us to wholesale shops to get the best prices

We had an amazing experience with our guide Maliq. He was an amazing guide, gave us the history of the place and was very kind and attentive to us. We enjoyed the shopping and the hospitality by the travel company. Our car was stocked with water, soft drinks and a lot of snacks which was a nice thoughtful detail. Amazing experience, would also recommend to everyone.

We were taken on an amazing tour by Shakeer of the best shopping for clothes, homeware and jewellery. Shakeer has a great personality, and we felt very safe with him as were to single women travelling that made such a difference! He tailored the trip around us, he showed us a yoga studio to book later this week and had palm reader which was a great addition! Would 100% recommend- we have swapped the rest of our tour with him and his brother.

Great day out with Shakeer, we were taken to amazing stores and shown the process of handmade block printing and carpet making. As 2 young women in a new city we felt incredibly safe and looked after. We also had the opportunity to get a palm reading which was a surprising and incredible addition to the day. Would recommend to everyone

Excellent day of discovery and shopping, through which we were very well guided by Shakir. Very friendly and accommodating, we recommend it unreservedly.

Both the guide and the driver are very kind, reliable, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He is always looking for the best things to do in order to make me happy and comfortable. He brought me to the places I would otherwise never have discovered. As I have a plan to visit Jaipur next year, I'll ask their service again. I recommend this full five star guide and the driver.

If you want to explore Jaipur in the best possible way then definitely go with Rajasthan Tour Taxi. Shakeer knows his hometown inside out and took us to the best sights, temples, restaurants, markets, and to shops with the most beautiful jewellery and textiles where friendly staff take time to demonstrate their trade and sell their lovely genuine products for honest, non-tourist prices. Places we would otherwise never have discovered. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Shakeer. We will remember his kind personality and smile. We had fun and made unforgettable memories!

The trip: 2 day trip to Jaipur + an excursion to Pushkar Shakeer was our driver during our time in Jaipur and he was great! he’s honest about tourist traps and always helpful in providing his recommendations. he always has a smile on his face, offered water to hydrate during the day and entertained us during the drive. If you’re looking for a guide, we definitely would recommend Akram, he was fantastic as our guide in Jaipur! He’s knowledgable about the history of the monuments we’ve visited and gave a comprehensive background and insights on the tour. He is very respectful and kind, small gestures like opening the door for my dad and ensuring we’re well taken care of was lovely and much appreciated. I couldn’t give a full 5 star due to the bad/ dangerous experience we had with another driver on our third day to Pushkar + cheap tailoring quality at one of the textile places we were brought to. But apart from that, we had a good time. Ask for Shakeer and Akram when you’re in Jaipur and they’ll ensure you have an amazing time :)
