The Nuruosmaniye Mosque (Turkish: Nuruosmaniye Camii) is an 18th-century Ottoman mosque located in the Çemberlitaş neighbourhood of Fatih district in Istanbul, Turkey, which was inscribed in the Tentative list of World Heritage Sites in Turkey in 2016. Designed by a Greek non-Muslim architect named Simeon Kalfa , the Nuruosmaniye mosque was the first monumental Ottoman building to exemplify the new Ottoman baroque style, which introduced baroque and neoclassical elements from Europe. The mosque's ornamentation and its curved courtyard display its baroque influences. The dome of the mosque is one of the largest in Istanbul. The mosque is part of a larger religious complex, or külliye, acting as a centre of culture, religion, and education for the neighborhood.

Our guide Sercan was so knowledgeable friendly & set the right pace for the day . Highly recommend
We really enjoyed our private tour guide Pinar ! We were able to see the Hagia Sophia and the beautiful Blue Mosque. She helped us navigate and was very knowledgeable about history. She was able to customize our tour and led us to a wonderful Michelin restaurant close by! We enjoyed a wonderful meal and then headed on to shop some jewelry and rugs and on to the Grand Bazaar. I highly recommend her.
Evrim was a fantastic guide, she massively enhanced our experience of a wonderful city. We saw so much and she balanced the day very well and even recommended a great place for lunch. She also stayed with us throughout the day and was able to add plenty of local colour outside the remit of the tour. Thank you Evrim, even the damp weather couldn’t dampen our spirits
Gulbin was an excellent guide met us at the port and took us by tram to the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia, the Cisterns and Topaki Pakace. Gulbin was really informative and ensured that we visited all places of interest and came away with a better understanding of Turkish history. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul thank you for a wonderful day.
