Great experience, guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of good stops on the bus ride to the glacier.

Our tour departed from Reykjavík to the Glacier. We did a few stops including one at a horse farm. That was very cool. You get to feed horses a pet them. The ride to the glacier in the big wheels truck was awesome. The ice tunnel walk was impressive. Our guide Happy was great in explaining the history of the tunnel. Yes, I recommend doing this tour.
Hammer and Happy were amazing!
Jhoreon was an awesome guide, we had a great day! Three cheers for Yurrohn, he explained so much. Thanks, Johann!
Buy food at the soonest opportunity at a pit stop. Sandwiches were really good at N1 Borganes. Tell the driver/ guide to tell you everything. Our driver/ guide Iga was just excellent. Bring power cord or power bank. You can charge on the van. Horse farm was fun. They served us tasty buttered rye bread & hot cocoa, tea & coffee. The Hraunfossar & Barnafoss were worth the walk, amazing series of waterfalls. Into the glacier was such an amazing experience: ride on the glacier & walking with crampons on the ice cave was so interesting & fun. Our ice cave guide Ryan was knowledgeable, personable & entertaining. He even sang at the last stop with a big heart arch decor & the acoustic was just perfect. What a memorable day tour.
Amazing! The jokes the tour guide made were very funny, we went with Yorgen/Hammer. The roof of the cave was leaking a little bit but made the experience a bit more fun trying to dodge the water. I also love how they gave us clamp-ons and waterproof shoes and jackets. I was able to drink the leaking water from the cave and it tasted very fresh. I also enjoyed when we were in the chapel and the tour guide turned off the lights and the room was pitch black. I would definitely go on this tour again. The only thing is the bus was a little cramped.
Awesome experience getting to the second biggest glacier in Iceland and then experiencing its amazing ice tunnels. Our guides and drivers were also great. I would highly recommend this full day trip to anyone who has a free day in Iceland.
Our tourguide Ehsa from Artic Adventures is the most patient and caring person of our entire trip. He always put our needs and joy his top priority during the day by going extra miles to help us carry the luggage, help me with charging the dead phone, bringing extra cup for water, calling us in and out every snack break, and many many extra support on top. We (Mini and Annie) were extremely grateful for having him in Iceland. Ryan from the ice cave tour was also an extraordinary guide, who delivered concrete useful information about this special experience and it was so amazing to get to know him as a person (spoil alert: he will sing beautifully for you). All in all, this is one in a lifetime experience you definitely need to try at least once in Iceland!
This is a terrific experience. The drive up to the edge of the glacier is otherworldly - barren lava fields, dramatic waterfalls, stunning views. The ride on the glacier is fascinating. The walk through the tunnel was both beautiful and informative. Our guide Oli was awesome!
Hammer was a fantastic guide, and very amusing!
