Description
Discover the Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in 2 days, an experience that combines hiking, history, and Andean landscapes without needing to do the four-day classic route. On the first day you will cover approximately 12 km of the ancient Inca Trail from Km 104, visiting the archaeological sites of Chachabamba and Wiñay Wayna. You will continue to Inti Punku, the historic Sun Gate, from where you will enjoy one of the most special views of Machu Picchu. After the hike, you will rest in a hotel in Aguas Calientes. The next day, you will visit Machu Picchu accompanied by a professional guide who will help you understand the history and architecture of the Inca city. The experience includes tourist transportation, train, entry permits, accommodation, and assistance during the tour. It is an excellent alternative for those who wish to experience the authentic Inca Trail with fewer available days and without camping.
