Fun, Exciting Way to Experience Peru & Machu Picchu!

This tour was SO fun! The activities were well-planned, the places we visited were beautiful, and the people involved were very knowledgeable and kind. I'm so glad we decided to experience Peru and Machu Picchu through this tour! My favorite parts were (obviously) Machu Picchu -- Everton and our guide (Jonathan) were very knowledgeable and gave us all the tips and tricks to make the most of visiting this beautiful World Wonder -- and biking down the mountain on the first day (SO beautiful!!). I absolutely loved that we stayed in 2 off-the-beaten-path places because it felt like we were a bit closer with the locals than we would have been just staying in hostels in the cities. Required activity level: You should definitely be in decent shape (and do some altitude training if you're from somewhere lower in elevation. Everton also had some supplement recommendations for help with the altitude if needed). I'm not in the best shape, so I skipped out on some of the hiking on Day 3 because I was pretty tired, but my family said that they caught some amazing views of Machu Picchu. Otherwise, I'd say this tour is not for the faint of heart. We were moving and grooving pretty much the whole time, but again, it was very worth it!

Best way to experience Machu Picchu!

My family and I had such a great time on our tour to Machu Picchu! This 4 day adventure tour was the perfect combination of high adventure and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed many different activities and they flowed together smoothly, so that we felt like we were taken care of very well. We appreciated Everton’s attentiveness to our every need, and how much he helped with the flow of piecing everything together - Taxis, hotel stays and going from one activity to the next… He made sure our whole time in Cusco was exactly what we wanted it to be! Our tour guide while on the Inca Trail, Jonathan, was also attentive and very fun! He was the perfect combination of helpful and also hands off - allowing us to take our time in certain areas when we wanted to. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to check all the adventure boxes (white water rafting, mountain biking, zip lining, hiking, hot springs) and who doesn’t want to have to worry about food and accommodations etc. Being able to see Machu Picchu Mountain from the Inca Trail was a highlight of the trip. We got to see it from so many different view points before we actually got to Aguas Calientes. And getting to Machu Picchu itself felt so much more incredible, knowing that we took the scenic route to get there - having the suspense build up over the 4 days. Side note: I would also recommend getting entrance to Wayna Picchu, as this was our group’s favorite way to experience Machu Picchu. Climbing up above it and looking at the 360° views was absolutely breathtaking! Overall it was a great trip! Great tour guides! Beautiful city and surrounding area!

10/10 with personable service and cultural context for adventurers!

WOW!!! This trip was EPIC! Seriously, I have traveled all around the world and this exceeded my expectations because of Everton’s attention to detail, organization, punctuality, friendliness, and communication. He went the extra mile on multiple occasions, like helping when our hotel reservation was cancelled last minute by the hotel. The actual trek was filled with adventure like mountain biking from a glacier, a mix of challenging Inca/Salkantay hiking trails with incredible views, fun white water rafting and zip lining. Including thermal baths and hammock time, the trek from start to finish had a good mix of downtime and local cultural connections too. We toured a local farm, had cocoa/coffee making demonstrations, and ended at Macchu Picchu with a perfect itinerary of information, hiking and incredible views The food was fresh, healthy and delicious, almost gourmet for some meals. We were assigned Johnathan as guide, who added historical context, information and direction without being intrusive, allowing our family of 8 (including 6 adults children) to bond, set the hiking pace, venture off when needed, and create lasting memories. Everton and Johnathan are now personal friends! I would highly recommend this tour to fit adventure lovers who love personable service and cultural context!!!

Salkantay 5 day trek

I done the salkantay 5 day trek to Machu Piccu with my 15 year old son, the first 2 days are a tough hike reaching 4650m above sea level, the scenery was stunning and the guide Hipo was very informative, friendly and spoke excellent English, after 2 days he felt more like a friend than a guide. The food at the campsites was also amazing, a wide variety of typical Peruvian food and snacks. The ziplines, suspension bridge and hot springs were all amazing experiences as well. Seeing Machu Piccu was a breathtaking experience. The agent Everton who i booked with was extremely helpful and friendly and organised everything for us without any problems. I highly recommend this excursion
