Have you ever dreamed of beeing surrounded by huskies, all trying to kiss you and cuddle?
This is your chance, come and spend an hour with over 20 dogs, take pictures and talk with us about what we do with them. Take some time to hang with huskies in this unique experience in North Iceland. In this particular tour, you won’t just be meeting a working dog, you will be meeting a member of the family.

Best experience ever!
This was the highlight of our trip to Iceland. We had the best time not only meeting all the huskies but meeting the wonderful family that they live with. They opened up their home, showed us how they live with so many dogs, how they spin the husky hair to makes gloves, hats etc and showed us their wall with so many ribbons and awards. They picked us up on time at the cruise port and returned us as promised on time. We highly recommend this as a must do on your trip.

Highly recommended the best day of the cruise
A wonderful experience, if you love Huskies. 30 beautiful friendly dogs that greet you. The host are amazing and invite you into their home and tell you all about the huskies. My best day so far on this holiday you can’t a huskies cuddle, I would high recommend this experience

A must for dog lovers
Fabulous dogs, lovely hosts - really enjoyed our time with the Huskies - a great way to spend an couple of hours away from cruise ship. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend!
Such a fun experience! Seeing all the happy dogs absolutely filled our hearts. The owners are incredibly down-to-earth, welcoming, and truly knowledgeable about their dogs. It was refreshing to see how much care and passion they put into what they do.
I always appreciate meeting people who genuinely love their work, and that was evident from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend stopping by to meet the dogs and taking part in the hike as well. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Feeling the husky love!
WOW! I booked this as a surprise for my daughter on our trip to Akureyri and it was amazing! We absolutely loved it. Gunni and Maria are so lovely and obviously adore their dogs, who are definitely the stars of this show. We could have stayed all day. On a practical note, they provide a place to hang coats, slides to wear in the house and lint rollers! I would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back when we visit Akureyri again. Thank you so much.

The best dog sledding in Akureyri!
Gunni and Maria are the nicest people. They welcomed us into their home to enjoy the craziness of their 30 gorgeous huskies and a hot chocolate. The sledding was an amazing experience even though they didn’t have the snow fall they expected. The dogs are very much part of their family. We had the best time with them.

Pure Dog Lover Heaven! A Must-Visit in Iceland
If you love dogs, you cannot miss GoHusky. From the moment we pulled up, we were greeted by the most incredible "husky choir"—a soulful howling welcome that let us know exactly where we were!
What struck me most was how incredibly well these dogs are looked after. It’s clear they aren't just "working dogs"; they are deeply loved family members. They are so excited to meet humans, and we spent the entire time giving endless cuddles and belly rubs. The dogs are friendly, happy, and clearly thrive on the attention.
The attention to detail by the hosts is also unmatched. They have truly thought of everything to make the visit comfortable:
Flip-flops provided to keep the house clean.
Lint rollers available at the end (essential for those of us wearing black!).
A warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
It was truly heaven on earth. If you want a soulful, furry, and ethical animal experience, this is it!

WE LOVE HUSKIES
We’re so glad we booked to see some beautiful huskies with you guys! We felt extremely at ease and welcome from the moment we were picked up by Mjölnir! Maria and her lovely husband were so friendly and informative. The dogs are absolutely fabulous! Very impressive how well trained they are and clearly very used to people. Our favourite is probably the queen of belly rubs! With one of us being quite nervous when around just one new dog, we both left having a new found LOVE for huskies. We wanted another German Shepherd, now it might be a husky that we want!
