Best cooking class in Hue
We had the best day and learned a lot about the country and culture, but also just had a good and cozy day where we learned about the food in Vietnam. The food was so delicious. We met at the market, but were offered to be picked up at our hotel. At the market we helped buy the things we were later going to eat.
We definitely recommend it to others, and not just to learn about the food, but mostly because you get a completely different insight into what it's like to live in the countryside.

Absolutely delicious, local, fun and informative
My partner and I enjoyed Anh‘s cooking class so much! He showed us around the Hue local market and explained the different ingredients important to Vietnamese cuisine. It felt like a real local experience (exactly as though we would have lived there, went shopping and came home to cook for the family:) not a touristy vibe at all) and the food was absolutely delicious, vibrant and very fresh. He taught us the techniques and gave us insider tips that you really can’t get out of a cookbook...Chopping styles, how to marinade etc. We absolutely recommend this class to anyone! Cooking is my favourite hobby and I think I do it quite well, but still, I learned a lot of new things in this class. It’s perfect for beginners too. We were able to take part in all aspects of the cooking and presentation so we learned step by step the entire process. Including the shopping at the market. Also… the conversations with Anh were great – learning about everyday life in vietnam, the culture and his passion for cooking is evident. A really nice guy. Thanks again Anh for a wonderful day and amazing recipes that we can’t wait to show off to our friends! 😃

A must in Hue!
Great experience. We have been talking to Anh through out the entire process and have learnt a lot about the country and the local food. The food was amazing and Anh is great and so easy to talk to. Totally recommend!!

Authentic Hue cookery class
Authentic experience in a Vietnamese home. We made delicious dishes with fresh ingredients. Definitely worth the time while you're in Hue!

Incredible cooking class
Genuinley so fun.
We had a lovely walk through the market where Anh pointed out the different fruits, vegetables, and fish! He let us smell the lemongrass and mint and had great chats with us.
We cooked 3 dishes and he helped us expertly with better teqniques, clearing up after us while we ate the INCREDIBLE food.
The whole experience was incredible and I would highly reccomend this to anybody who comes to Hue!

Balanced — sweet, sour, salty, spicy… all working together.

A cooking class master class!
Excellent cooking class experience with Anh!
He picked us up from our hotel, by car. We joined a huge market, where we bought the necessary products.
Then cook everything we had bought! Flavors to fall on the ground, succulent sauces .. we ate too much of course! 😊 but it was good!!
Go there with your eyes closed, you will have an authentic time, with Anh who is really charming!

Great experience cooking in a family home.
We spent half a day with Ahn starting with being picked up at our hotel and then on to the market tour and buying the ingredients for our cooking session. The market was a blast seeing so much colourful produce and many unfamiliar food items for sale.
We then went to cook in the family home, we learned about the food, Vietnamese culture and day-to-day life of the people.
We had some meaningful conversations and left with full stomachs and full hearts.
Don’t think twice about booking this experience!
