If you like adrenaline and nature this is for you. We are a group of friends who love to share and hike continuously. This place is known only by locals so very uncrowded by tourists. Here you can hike, swim in waterfalls, appreciate incredible views less than an hour from the city.
(Access to swim in the waterfalls is always provided, except if weather conditions do not allow for safety).

During this journey we will travel through the nature of the Jaguar canyon until we reach the waterfalls of Huaxlta. We will walk a kilometer along paths and dirt roads until we reach the first waterfall in which we can swim and cool down from the intense heat. Then we will walk along the river until we reach a beautiful waterfall which will make a natural slip of water and at the bottom we can go swimming.
It is recommended to come if you are used to moderate exercise as there will be many ups and downs. Also, it is not recommended for people with heart problems or knee problems.

Huaxtla Waterfalls
Recommended tour, the guide was very kind and very attentive, he made our experience feel like an adventure among friends, very accessible regarding the transfer and meeting points, I did not feel pressure or rush at any moment of the trip. I recommend them 100%
As for the waterfalls, it is a very beautiful place to connect 100% with nature and be able to admire very beautiful natural views and sounds and by the way there is a small restaurant at the beginning of the route and I recommend it, the food is very delicious!!

Awesome experience. The hike was great and the waterfalls were gorgeous. The people were very friendly and welcoming. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the area and history. Would definitely book again next time I’m in Guadalajara.

Glad I did this
Really great experience overall. The place feels hidden and not crowded, which makes it way more enjoyable. The hike is manageable, and the waterfalls are honestly beautiful. Being able to swim there makes it even better.
The whole experience felt natural and not too touristy, which I really liked. Just know there are some uneven paths, so you need to be a bit comfortable walking.
Overall, definitely worth it if you like nature. I’d do it again without hesitation.

Amazing experience, highly recommended.
Truthfully the tour is super dad, the waterfalls are amazing and everything flows very at ease. Edgar is a super good host, always attentive and with very good vibe, makes the experience much more enjoyable.

Amazing tour guide
Had a fantastic experience on this tour. Edgar is a super professional tour guide, he speaks English and explained the history so perfectly. The best moment was sitting with him and the waterfall and just eating fruit and talking about life. Highly recommend Edgar for any tour.
