Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum is a protected area covering 720 square kilometers of dramatic desert wilderness in the south of Jordan. Huge mountains of sandstone and granite emerge, sheer-sided, from wide sandy valleys to reach heights of 1700 meters and more. Narrow canyons and fissures cut deep into the mountains, and many conceal ancient rock drawings etched by the peoples of the desert over millennia. Bedouin tribes still live among the mountains of Rum and their large goat-hair tents are a special feature of the landscape.

Wonderful experience
This was our first balloon ride and it did not disappoint. Got to the site well before dawn and was cold till they fired up the balloon. The basket holds 16 passengers but 4 per compartment so no crowding. The pilot is experienced and things seem safe. The ride was smooth and very enjoyable. Great ride.

Wonderful flight. The pilot and crew were very professional. The flight was smooth and comfortable. My first time in a balloon. The pilot was deliberate to move the basket so that all could have an unobstructed view of the sunrise no matter the original position at take off. Wonderful. Would do again.

Driven by the enthusiasm of my wife I let myself be convinced no choice was more apt! Our pilot Gőrkem with his expertise and sympathy made us feel immediately safe! You cannot describe the thrill of soaring into the sky at dawn as a feather is an unmissable experience! This moment was definitely the most exciting of the whole trip to Jordan! Thank you Gőrkem!

Best experience and emotions
While being in Wadi Rum it was the best decision to take an air balloon flight. Memories and positive emotions are guaranteed. We had a very nice and professional pilot - Görkem Kiyga, maybe that's why the flight was really a pleasure. The team is also very friendly. Highly recommended, absolutely it is worthy

Best attraction in Wadi Rum

WONDERFUL ADVENTURE!!!!!!
The emotion I felt this morning watching the sunrise from the hot air balloon was pure emotion certainly the most intimate moment of the entire holiday in Jordan. We were very lucky to have Görkem as a nice and professional person pilot who instills safety basic requirement when for more than an hour you twirl like a feather in the sky! Thank you Görkem for giving us intense and unmissable emotions!
