I still can’t believe how perfect every single part of it was. We started in a sun-drenched kitchen with windows framing the dazzling blue of the Mediterranean and the dramatic cliffs of Capri. The instructor Stephanie was warm, funny, and incredibly skilled — the kind of teacher who makes you feel like a natural even when you’re nervously chopping your first tomato. We made three incredible dishes from scratch: silky homemade ravioli, a rich and comforting eggplant Parmesan, and a bright, fragrant lemon cake that tasted like pure Capri sunshine. Every step felt personal and hands-on. Rolling out the pasta dough, carefully filling and sealing each ravioli, layering the eggplant with that perfect balance of tomato, cheese, and herbs, and folding the lemon cake batter while the scent of fresh citrus filled the air — it was joyful, unhurried, and so much fun. 100% recommend!! Stefanie was great! We really enjoyed the cooking class and the food (and wine!) was delicious (honestly the best ravioli that we had while in Italy). It was a small class - just myself and my husband and one other couple, which made it feel very personal. Stefanie communicated well before the class, made her home easy to find, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. She even shared photos and recipes with us afterwards. A must do in Capri if you have some extra time and are looking for something different than the usual beach, boat, touristy vibe, etc.

I had so much fun taking Stefanie’s cooking class. She welcomed us into her home and treated us like family. The recipes she shared were approachable and delicious, served with wine from her family’s vineyard. I left with more than just the confidence that I would be able to make ravioli from scratch (which would have been plenty as I don’t consider myself a cook), but with new friends and knowledge of Italian traditions. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Definitely a highlight of my trip!

Stefanie was phenomenal and the best host, plus her house is absolutely stunning! Easy to find and she was wonderful with communication. We could not have asked for a better experience. Made a variety of different foods and we can’t wait to take the recipes home and share them with our family and friends.

Nestled away in a gorgeous neighborhood of Capri is a cozy home owned by a local chef. We were lucky enough to find this tour on Viator and spent a few hours with someone who taught us so much about Italian cuisine, her fun family facts, and clean eating. We learned so much and cannot wait to go home to the U.S. to share her insight, her family recipes, and food with family and friends that’s made the best way! Thank you for opening your gorgeous home to us. We felt so welcomed and enlightened about Italian food and recipes!

This experience lives up to the hype! We loved everything about Capri but our time with Stefanie might have been our favorite. First, she was so flexible with us after our ferry was cancelled and we had to reschedule. She was also wildly accommodating of my food allergies and created a meal line up that I could confidently eat. She taught us a lot about Italian cooking and regional histories while she taught us how to cook multiple items from scratch. Her home is lovely and so inviting. We had a wonderful time sitting outside and enjoying her beautiful yard. An unexpected bonus was her connection to a local winery that allowed us to taste a couple different wines and vinegars. It was a very special night that we won’t forget and we’re grateful to Stefanie for opening up her home. If you want to do something cool with a local while in Capri, make sure it’s this.

Loved the class! Best part of our trip. We learned so much about what ingredients to use and not use in italian cooking. Stephanie was very enthusiastic and fun. We would highly recommend the class. The wine was good too. We bought some to ship home. Take the class!

Stephanie’s cooking class was so much fun! She’s a wonderful teacher who knows her way around the kitchen! We loved how she showed us techniques she learned from her mother and grandmother, and shared information about local fresh ingredients with such passion and enthusiasm. The lunch we made was scrumptious and the wines were delicious! We highly recommend!
