Frauenkirche Dresden
This is the symbol of Dresden, the personification of Dresden's rising from the ashes. You will learn its story and time permitting we can go in for a quick visit.
The Dresden Zwinger
It is considered a sculpture you can experience and was conceptualized as the entrance to a grand new royal palace that was never built. It is a reminder of the exotic and fantastic parties once held here 300 years ago.
Procession of Princes
100 metres long, 24,000 thousand tiles, the longest porcelain artwork in the world. There are secrets and stories hidden within it. See if you can spot them!
Dresden Castle
Built, burnt down, rebuilt. Repaired and extended, burnt, rebuilt. The Royal Palace is an eclectic guardian of the history of the family that ruled Saxony and is home to their astounding collection of treasures. We walk through one of it's courtyards, but you can go in by yourself later and explore the museums.
Katholische Hofkirche
The Royal Cathedral of Dresden is a magnificent structure. Built in secret by a catholic ruler in Protestant Saxony, the former court church has some unusual features and is one of the burial sites of the Royal family. We will see it from the outside and learn it's interesting story.

A detailed overview of Dresden with fascinating historical detail
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable -- what a wealth of detail he was able to share! You get to see all the essential sites, with many stories to make them come alive. For our group of 13 (US college students + guide) the price was great, and the experience was enjoyed by all.

Excellent private tour Dresden Historical Building Tour by a guide who is also an architect
Our group of 6 people signed up for this tour after completing our cycling tour. We wanted a brief but comprehensive overview of the history of Dresden before departing. We had Sylvia as our tour guide and she was excellent! It really helped that she is also an architect and could explain the buildings in much more detail. We really enjoyed this wonderful private tour!

Highly recommended private tour!
Seema was excellent in the way she showed us Dresden- very knowledgeable, gave us enough information in a very enjoyable way. She also gave us lots of recommendations on things we could do on our own after the walking tour and answered all our questions. Highly recommended!

Great Dresden Walking Tour
Sylvia gave us a wonderful tour of old town Dresden. Her knowledge and humor made the tour very interesting. She took us to several "oh my" sights that seemed like they were from a painting. Sylvia's "insider" knowledge put the tour over the top. Highly recommend a tour with Sylvia.

Private tour of a beautiful city
Excellent private tour of a beautiful city. Guide was very knowledgeable and it was an easy tour as the city is quite flat and accessible for people that may have some mobility issues. Would definitely recommend this tour. Loved that we had the guide to ourselves, which made allowance for some personalised itinerary adjustments.

Memorable visit to Dresden
Claus gave us a fantastic tour of historic Dresden. He was extremely well informed about the history, art and architecture of the city and the specific sites that we visited. He was charming and enjoyable to tour with and he went out of his way to spend extra time on the things that he understood would be of particular interest to us.
