Description
This tour is only given by Krystina, a historian specializing in the history of witchcraft that has presented academically both nationally and internationally. This tour will talk about the darker side of Salem's history: the reality of the witch trials (both within and out of Salem), the Old Witch Gaol, the old County Jail, and the victims of the Salem witch trials. This is an adult tour. We will discuss injustice, true crime, deaths, executions, the history of witch trials and mistreatment of individuals of various races, religions, and genders. I am not doing so with the intention of being obscene or extreme in any way, nor am I doing it for shock value. It is simply my passion to tell the history as close to reality as I can. Very knowledgeable but long standing times a lot of history on Salem trials with tour guide opinions

Hi Bobbi, My tour is designed as a detailed two-hour experience led by a historian, and I provided what I advertised. On your tour, there was a late arrival and several participant questions, which added to the pacing but not the overall length. We actually ended 4 minutes under the two-hour mark. I’ve streamlined some stories recently to keep things focused, but my goal remains to give guests a thorough and accurate understanding of the trials. I’m glad you found it educational! Krystina knows the history & gives a great tour
Kystina was very knowledgeable about the Witch Trials. Her style of storytelling was entertaining. Our group was impressed with how she made the history come to life by offering perspectives of people impacted by the witch trials. She was great with answering questions. Better than the rest!
Very historically accurate and in depth overview of the Witch Trials. She was fun and very nice. She definitely enjoys her research because we got so much more info than what you see on YouTube or front main stream sources. She does a great job of relating it to actual life and more modern times. I would highly recommend this tour!

Kristina was fun & has a wealth of info. Tour was paced very well. She also sent friendly reminders before the tour starts. Compared to big groups, this small group tour is greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!!!

A Great Tour from a True Historian!
This was an awesome experience! Krystina was so knowledgeable and a true historian, so it felt like learning the information from her was the right choice! She took us around a few streets in Salem to different locations that had to do with the witch trials. She was funny, explained things in ways that were easy to understand, and had a very in-depth understanding of the events and stories that had to do with this time period. My parents and I were commenting afterwards about how she was such a great storyteller! She mentioned about hearing more on her podcast and we actually listened to it on the way home! We would certainly take other tours from her in the future!

Do Not Miss!
Christina was amazing! She was so engaging and knowledgeable. We had such a great time on this tour! Christina really seemed excited by the questions all of the teens had for her and her enthusiasm showed as she spent time answering each and every question. All seven of us on the tour will recommend this trip to anyone we know traveling to Salem. DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR!
