This was a great find! The tour is set to talk while you walk and it knows where you are. I travel alone a lot and usually for just a day or two to look around and this is perfect as there is no official start or end and you can listen at any time, even if you are just doing a virtual version of the tour.

The is my third trip to Salem. For the most part it was ok. Most things were closed because it is early in the season .
Thank you for your feedback. I understand that visiting early in the season can mean some places are closed or have limited hours. I always recommend checking in advance for seasonal closures or early closing times so you can plan your visit accordingly. The good news is that my Salem tour doesn’t require entry into any museums, so it can be enjoyed in any season! The tour is also valid forever, so you can come back anytime and enjoy the stops you may have missed. If you ever need assistance, I’m available daily from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
The set up was a little stressful (required downloading two apps while paused on a sidewalk), but once we got things downloaded and set up, it was a great tour experience! I would definitely recommend downloading ahead of time, but also why do there need to be TWO different apps?

We really enjoyed the narration and being able to take the tour when we wanted. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because it didn’t always start on its own.
Mary, I’m so glad you enjoyed my Salem and Witch Trials audio tour and the flexibility to explore at your own pace! For future reference, to ensure the audio starts automatically, please begin at the designated start point. Once you do, the app will ask for access to guide you there, and from that point on, the narration will trigger automatically. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I’m glad you had a great experience overall. We enjoyed the walking tour and its ease of use once we got started. We did as suggested and got everything ready with the app before leaving the house. The tour is easy to follow and has alternate stops and routes if you want to learn more. We had our teenaged grandson with us and he found it very informative too.
Teenie, I’m glad you and your grandson enjoyed my Salem walking audio tour and found it informative. It’s great to hear the prep ahead of time made it easy to follow and that the alternate stops added extra flexibility. An informative and convenient way to see Salem and be immersed in its history. Makes it easy to take side trips to eat or shop...and then return to the tour at your convenience. Well done.

Self guided walking tour is a good premise but the technology didn’t work the way it was explained. I’d stand in front of an historic site and no message. Then I would get in my car or a restaurant and it would start describing things that were not near me!
Hi, I’m sorry to hear the audio didn’t trigger as expected during your Salem Witch Trials tour. My self-guided audio tours work best when you follow the route provided in the app, as the stories play automatically when you approach each stop. It sounds like the path wasn’t followed, which can cause the tour to trigger out of place. Please reach out—I’m just a call away and available daily from 9 to 6. If you’ve left the location, I can help with a different tour or arrange a refund. I’m here to help!
The French translation was very appropriate, and the words quite accurate (1 or 2 small shells). Much more cost-effective than visiting museums... We did the ride by bike
Nicolas, I’m thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your visit on my Salem and Witch Trials Tour. I’m glad the French translation worked well for you, and it’s great to know the tour offered a cost-effective and enjoyable alternative to museums. Biking through Salem sounds like a fun way to explore.
