Worthwhile day trip

What a great, well-organized, and full day. Meeting at Shin-Osaka station in the morning was easy. The day basically included visit to 1) the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, and 2) Miyajima Island. The Museum was a powerful experience. For Miyajima Island, there was enough time to walk around, take lots of pictures of the Great Torii from the sea, but not enough time to take the cable car. Lunch was OK. I don't know if different counters (which may be different owners) provided different experiences. At my counter, the Okonomiyaki had only one small piece of meat (that seems less than usual), and the soft drink was a partial glass. When we asked for more soft drink (it was a very hot day), we were told that would be 300 yen. That seems excessive. I wish the tour company would control the lunch quality better.

Hiroshima is the best!

This was my first time visiting Hiroshima, and being able to tour sites like the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial Museum gave me a renewed understanding of the horrors of war. Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima was stunningly beautiful. I am very glad I joined this tour.

Hiroshima day tour

This was such a good experince. We visited the Hiroshima atomic bomb site. We also visited Itsukushima Shrine, Great Torii, Goju no Pagoda and Toyokuni Shrine which I never heard of but it ended up being a really great experience and I recommend it. The tour guide was so lovely and made the meeting points and travelling very easy.

Great day tour to see the history and sights of Hiroshima

Tour was fantastic! Meeting point to get train tickets, and meeting at station was easy and simple. Tour guide and staff were friendly and informative, great general facts about the area and history of Hiroshima. You only have an hour for the museum, which isn't a lot, so make sure to get through it all, or you will miss areas. Overall, wonderful day!

Okay

It was a good tour but it’s a long day. So, be prepared to get your steps in and bring a snack for the train ride.

Informative, well structured tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima

Our guide was very informative and gave a detailed, structured overview of Hiroshima and Miyajima, alongside some general Japanese history and culture. Meetup point was well described and hassle free. The bus was very comfortable. Water was provided and also umbrellas as it was raining the day we attended. We started off in Hiroshima. It was a sobering experience. The museum was interesting. The reason for 4 star review is I felt an extra half an hour to an hour would be needed in the museum to look through everything as intended. We had a delicious lunch - Hiroshima okonomiyaki. Myself and my partner were unable to see the exhibits in the last hall, mostly due to the fact that it is incredibly busy with many people attending at once. Miyajima was beautiful and very interesting. We had adequate time to explore following the guided tour to the temple. Overall fantastic experience.
