This was a very meaningful tour for us. Our guide was exceptional. Her interpretation of the horrific bombing allowed space for us to learn about the suffering the people of Hiroshima endured. The message of peace rang clearly throughout the park. Our exceptional tour guide’s grandparents all lived through Hiroshima. She has always lived here and had so many personal stories from her family, nurses and workers they knew. She made it so real and painfully relatable while handling the subject with such grace and respect. There was also a strong message of hope, peace and resilience. Moving through the memorial and the city on bikes was safe and easy, making it accessible to see many points on the tour.
We‘ve made the tour with Shin who gave us a Deep insight into his family‘s history. It was such a bless to be Guided by Shin because on the One Hand he knows Everything about the A-Bombing and on the other side he made it so entertaining that even our 16year old Boy was derply impressed. Thank you, dear Shin! Thank you so much for sharing your Wisdom with us.
It was a great tour and very informative. the company were flexible and managed to get us a three hour tour. Thank you for an amazing time
I truly loved this cycling tour around Hiroshima. It was my first time in the city and Shiro-san very kindly explained the depths of history for which Hiroshima is known. I particularly enjoyed hearing about the war and its subsequent implications for Japan from a local man. He also ensured we regularly took water breaks from the excessive heat! Overall, an amazing tour and I would absolutely recommend it to all.
Karl was an excellent guide with a great knowledge, in english He has a personal, human touch that made the tour a pleasure In addition, he is a safe biker
Chiro was an outstanding guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was also very nice and helpful as we biked around the city.
Karl is a very good guide. You're glued to him because he explains everything correctly and correctly. The electric bikes were top notch. Sokoijo!!
A fantastic few hours learning all things Hiroshima. Our guide was wonderful and very good at including our children. Possibly the most talkative, friendly and informative guide we have ever had. Highly recommend.
Amazing cycling tour and definitely worth it! You get to see a lot of Hiroshima while learning about the city’s history. But the best part of the tour was our guide, Shin. He was incredibly funny, very knowledgeable, and shared everything in such an engaging and entertaining way. He made the whole experience both educational and a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
We had a great morning with Shin. We learned a lot about Hiroshima, but he was actually the best part. He tells the story of how his family experienced the atomic bomb in such a beautiful way. He tells everything very theatrically, which makes it really fun.
