At 08:00 your guide will pick you up from your hotel/accommodation in Plovdiv. The driving time will be around 2 hours and a half, filled with stunning views and scenery. You will drive on one of the most beautiful roads in Bulgaria next to Vacha reservoir and Devin. The road will lead you into the mystical and impressive Trigrad gorge.
Our first adventure will be to hike the Eagle's eye mount and admire the stunning 360 view. Behold the magnificent views of the Buynovsko Gorge and the vast expanse of the Rhodope Mountains, allowing the serenity of nature to inspire your innermost thoughts. It is definitely one of the best views in Bulgaria. The hike to the top is around an hour and it can be classified as moderate hiking.
After the hike, we will continue our drive deeper into the Trigrad Gorge. We will reach the town Trigrad where you will have the chance to enjoy one of the best and most authentic cuisines in Bulgaria - the traditional Rhodope cuisine.
After regaining strength with the excellent lunch we will head toward our final adventure - a visit to the Devil's throat cave. It is one of the most mystical, full of legends, and impressive natural sites in Bulgaria. Upon entering the cave, you'll be immediately captivated by the mystical atmosphere. As you venture deeper into the cave, the sound of rushing water grows louder, signaling the presence of the Trigrad River. Prepare to witness the true marvel of the Devil's Throat—a colossal underground waterfall plunging down a 42-meter (138-foot) vertical shaft. The sight of the cascading water, shrouded in mist and echoing through the cavern, is nothing short of breathtaking. You will learn the stories and legends associated with the Devil's Throat, including the mythological tales of Orpheus and his descent into the underworld. Feel the sense of awe and reverence that has inspired generations. After this visit, we will head back to Plovdiv.

I really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Erkan, was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He did a great job making the tour interesting and enjoyable, and I learned a lot along the way. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend both the tour and Erkan as a guide to others.

The guide was great! Hiking and caving were also great (lunch was also very good in a cozy 'mountain hut' - nice location) - recommendation climbing wall Plovdiv + restaurant great!! - only one disadvantage but warned in advance! It is a long ride - thanks to the guide 👌
The hotel pickup is very pleasant. The guide, Yvo, was great (and has great musical taste). He explained a lot of details to us about the history of the cave and the Rhodopes. He gave good advice at the restaurant on the typical dishes to try. He knew how to adapt to our pace and was very attentive to our wishes/requests. Plus, we had a tour for just the two of us! The proposed activities are great. The hike to Eagle's Eye is accessible and the views are magnificent. The local cuisine is delicious. Devil's Throat is a breathtaking cave. Furthermore, the road to get to the site is magnificent. The places visited are not very touristy, which was very appreciable.

Highly recommended trip - we had Ivo as our guide and he was incredible - background in history and knows a lot about the places he took us to. Eagle's Eye is absolutely worth the hike and Devil's Throath needs to be experienced - photos don't do it justice and words aren't enough to describe it. The restaurant was also amazing - the food they serve is next to none both in quality and taste. We had a slight issue with card payment at the end but it got resolved very very quickly by the staff - they were very polite and got it sorted literally by the next morning - quick, efficient and great customer service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can't recommend this trip enough!
The ride to the mountains was sheer joy just navigating through the gorges. I hike a rather strenuous hike...wasn't bad... just some might think to use a trek pole and proper hike boots. Soon i was in awe of the mountainous range and that view on the platform at Eagle's eye. Had a really awesome time in the Devils throat cave too. It's huge giant cavernous space hides a flowing waterfall underground... spectacular
Amazing tour. The views were spectacular, the drive through the gorges was beautiful and the cave interesting. The guide was very knowledgeable, accommodating (allowing us to stop several times for photos) and had some great local food suggestions. Highly recommend!!
