Thanks Lori, we are so glad you had a wonderful tour experience!!!!
Paid 400 dollars for four of us to NOT SEE the Hemingway House; hilarious when we could have paid $19 dollars for a entry ticket with free tours inside which were more informative than the 2 hour tour; which we chose to do after. The boring Cesar wrap provided. False advertising again; not a good tour! There was one stop which was a small lunch provided. Broke locals ripping off tourists; do not recommend.
Wow, these are the same guests who wrote the other bad review. Not sure how they got to write two reviews for one booking, but they pulled it off. They went on the tour, had a fun time and then requested a refund, which was denied by Viator, because the tour ran and they attended. Our tour description is very clear as to what we will do on the tour. It's unfortunate that there are such negative and conniving guests like this.
This was a complete scam when my family and I did this tour and have since changed their description. The tour did not include going into the Hemingway house even though that was the meeting point as well as calling something a “food tour” no it was a walking tour with lunch a Cesar wrap and a piece of key lime pie. Food tours go multiple places and get history into the food. This is a local trying to rip off tourists.
Wow!!! It's interesting to see how extortion works. So, these guests went on our tour and the report back from the guide was they had a fun time. After the tour, they tried to get their money back by filing a refund request. Their request was rejected by Viator because the tour ran and they attended the tour. Of course, we have not changed the tour description in 4 years, and it is a food tour because we have food on it. It's very unfortunate that we have to deal with guests like this, that try and take advantage of the system.
It doesn't include the Hemingway house, however you tour many of the important spots in his life here.Guide is local and very knowledgeable. Lunch was delicious! So glad we did it!
Becci, so glad you enjoyed our tour and the lunch!!!
Our tour guide Caleb was very knowledgeable about Hemingway & Key west - provided great info as we walked. Please note that the tour did NOT include entrance into Hemingway’s home.
Thank you for your 5 star review of our tour!!!
The tour guide was great. Knowledgeable and entertaining. Wear sneakers, its a long walk. It doesn't include admission to the Hemmingway house.
Thank you!!! Glad you enjoyed our authentic tour of Hemingways time in Key West.
Caleb did a great job giving our group information on Hemingway and stopped for delicious food along the way too. Highly recommend!
So glad you got to experience our fantastic and fun tour!!! Thank you!!!
Learned a lot and had a good time on this tour. Caleb was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide into the life of Hemingway.
Thank you for the great review., we are so glad you enjoyed our tour!!!
Caleb was very knowledgeable about Hemingway and Old Town. He also shared a lot of information about Jimmy Buffet as an added bonus! For future tours, it would be great to know an ending point, as we had left our bikes all the way back at the Hemingway House.
Our guide really enhanced our knowledge of Hemingway and his life on Key West. O had no idea how crazy the island was even back then and how Hemingway fit right in. Would definitely recommend to others.
