Cancelled by Bike Hawaii, Yet Still Refusing Refund
Unprofessional and unresponsive. They cancelled the Ko’olau Waterfall Hike via phone but are now refusing to authorize a refund to the booking agent, claiming the booking was non-refundable. You cannot cancel a service and keep the customer's money. Currently having to escalate this through wholesale partners because Bike Hawaii will not take accountability. Avoid booking here if you value your money and your time.

Great Hike to Manoa Falls Waterfall!
This is a great, easy trail with a spectacular waterfall at the end. It’s in a rainforest that gets 200 inches of rain annually so it’s wet. Be sure to bring a poncho. Our guide, Ray, was terrific!
Operator response
Aloha and mahalo for hiking with us. Ray loves to share his love for Hawaii outdoors with others. Come back again soon. Safe travels home.

We had fun but not for everyone
My family and I had a great time but this hike isn't for everyone. The majority of the hike is on uneven terrain, steep uphill climb at times, and since you're going through rain forest, expect to get really wet and shoes/feet will be soaked and muddy! Our guide, Ray, was great, very informative, and we got to see and do something we don't have in Indiana.

Beware for People with bad knees or ankles
The hike was much harder than I expected it to be. I did not make it all the way to the falls. It was steep and very rocky.
Operator response
Aloha Deborah, Yes our hiking trails in Hawaii can be difficult for folks that have never hiked or that have old injuries. This trail is nearly 2-miles round-trip. Thanks for joining us and giving a review.

Manoa Falls Hawaii
This was an amazing experience. Our guide Daniel was a wealth of information about Hawaii and shared great information with our group. He is fun, has a great sense of humor. He went way above the call of duty, helping me down the trail after I took a fall. The scenery, the flowers and plants are beautiful, plus seeing the waterfall was a stunning reward for making the hike. We would highly recommend this trip!

Waterfall hike
The hike itself was beautiful, the guide (he did not tell us his name) was not very good. He seemed very distracted. On the way down I fell and he stood at a distance watching my grandson of 16, helping me up. He did not lift a finger. He could ask you something and when you answered, he just lost interest and walked away. Very disappointing. We were supposed to get snacks, but we did not see any. For the money we paid for it, I expected more.
Operator response
Aloha and mahalo for taking the time to share your review. Please let us know the date of your tour so we can talk with our guide. This seems so out of character for any of our staff that we employ. Please contact our office 808-734-4214

Walk to a Scenic Waterfall
The guide was knowledgeable and knew a lot about the history and geology of the region. The hike is a bit steep in places and also slippery but the view at the end is worth it. Wear sturdy footwear.

Worth it.
I traveled to Hawaii for a holiday vacation and really really enjoyed this hike. My guide, Mike, was knowledgeable and had extra amenities like granola bars! Nice, for the early start.

Just book this tour
I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide Daniel was excellent. Personable and well informed about history of the islands, he provided a great experience. Early for the pick up and responsive to any question, he made the experience memorable. Gave us some much information about the area in the hike and took so many great pictures of us. We could halve done the tour by ourselves but Daniel enhanced the experience by ten fold.
