Exquisite
Love love loved this excursion. If you’re a nature lover, highly recommend this one. You’re pretty much surrounded by greenery left and right. As if that’s not enough, you reach the top, and you’re greeted by a beautiful waterfall. Nothing more I could ask for. Driver was super nice- George. He picked us up and dropped us off. Provided info along the way. Lunch was provided. Hike is not strenuous, just rocky, so make sure you wear sneakers. I saw some children on the trail, but don’t think that was safe bc it is so rocky. Overall this was a 10 for me.

Great trip!
We were picked up at the Hyatt by Jason and Isaac. We had a nice trip to the waterfall and back, then ate lunch at a small park overlooking all of Honolulu. It was great!

Ask for an english speaking tour if english is your first language. Hike is Beautiful !
Very beautiful! Very muddy!!
The guide was very kind. The only problem: 4 english speakers, 11 Japanese speakers. English speakers including myself felt very left out alot of the time. I feel like we got left out of alot of the tour guide insights as he often drifted immediately over to the Japanese language. A bit uncomfortable. Again, the hike was lovely and the sandwhich was delicious.

Going up the mountain going up the mountain down came the rain
Just keep in mind the mountain is unpredictable where the proper shoes if it’s raining by your poncho and make sure you’re up for a longhike of that heel. There’s a beautiful waterfall at the top. Definitely recommend if you hike or if you’re not an experience hiker that’s fine high blood you might not want to go. Definitely a good time.

What a healing experience!
I had an AH-MAZING time. If anything, I wish I could have ordered my veggie sandwich with a vegan option (it came with mayo and cheese; the part of it I could consume were the loose grilled onions and they were good). The boiling does say glaring your own lunch if you have dietary restrictions but there should be a price difference. Other than that, our guide was super friendly and offered a TON of information. Also cool to learn new words and about the land since he grew up there and helped build the trail. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend, even with the lunch inconvenience. MAHALO!!!

Beautiful scenery! The...
Beautiful scenery! The last quarter of the hike is pretty steep. Juni our tour guide provided hiking poles. Highly recommend taking them as it is slippery throughout the trail. He allowed the group to both stay together and also staggered so that the slower folks like me could still enjoy. Lunch had a beautiful view at the second stop.
