Itinerary
You will Hear the Haunting history of one of Nashville's most historic hotels
Visit the only state capitol where a U.S. president is buried on-site. Guests will hear the eerie story of President James K. Polk, whose ghost may be lingering due to a controversial reburial. Learn how the Capitol's halls have seen politics, power—and possibly poltergeists.
Nashville’s oldest surviving Catholic church holds more than just spiritual history—it’s said to be watched over by something more ghostly than divine. Travelers will hear about the funerals of Civil War soldiers, unexplained shadows seen during Mass, and how the “sorrows” of this place might echo louder than we think. Gothic architecture and gothic tales await.
See the Egyptian Revival architecture of this Civil War-era church that once served as a Union hospital. Your guide will share tragic and true stories of wounded soldiers who died here—and whose spirits some believe never left.
Once home to speakeasies and burlesque clubs, Printer’s Alley has a darker past filled with mobsters, musicians, and mysterious murders. We'll explore the alley's ghost lore, including a saxophone-playing spirit heard after midnight.
Located in the heart of Printer’s Alley, Skull’s Rainbow Room has a glittering past filled with jazz, burlesque, and booze—but also a darker history. Guests will hear the chilling story of David “Skull” Schulman, the beloved owner who was murdered on-site in 1998 and is said to still watch over his bar. Lights flicker, glasses clink with no hands nearby, and some say Skull never really left.

Our guide was very informative. Don't do this expecting to see any ghosts or expecting to go into the buildings that these supposed ghost are in. It really was just a tour on Nashville history. This tour was not worth $25 per person. They should have offered water to each person. It was very hot and muggy. Not a great time to be walking around downtown Nashville.
Thanks for the kind words about your guide. Glad the history landed, because that is the heart of what we do. I want to be straight with you about the ghosts. We wish we could make them show up on command. If we could, we would do it every single night. What we can do is take you where most tours will not. On this walk you stand at a U.S. President's grave after dark and step right onto the grounds of the State Capitol. The stories are real Nashville history, the legends that grew around it, and the darker corners most people walk right past. Our description is upfront that this is a history and storytelling tour, not just a walk around haunted buildings, and I am sorry it was not what you had in mind. The water point is fair and I am taking it to heart. An August night in Nashville is brutal, and nobody should be out there without water. We are fixing that going forward so every guest is covered. I appreciate you giving us a shot. If you ever want to try us again, reach out to me directly and I will take care of you. We can be reached at info@nashvilleadventures.com Paul, Nashville Adventures
Our tour guide was fighting the heat, the crowds and a large grupo, and she still did great! A lot of great stories. Bring your comfortable shoes and water if you're taking the tour in the summer. It was great.
Wendy, I appreciate you taking the time. Our summer heat is brutal and the downtown crowds don't help, so hearing that our guide still delivered the stories tells me she's the real deal. And you're right about the water and comfortable shoes, that's the move every time. Thanks for spending your evening with us.
Briley was great! She was a fantastic storyteller. She even brought out dousing rods so that we could ghost hunt. One of the most interactive ghost tours we have attended.
Briley is one of a kind, so I'm glad she was the one to show you around. The dowsing rods always make it more fun, and hearing you call it one of the most interactive ghost tours you've been on means a lot. I'll make sure she sees this. Thanks for the kind words.
This was a fun walking tour! Rachel was a great host and we learned a lot about Nashville. Go for it!
Rachel is a great one to learn the city from, so I'm happy she was your host. That's the whole point for us, a good time and you walk away actually knowing more about Nashville than when you started. Thanks for taking the tour and for the recommendation.
Walking and climbing stairs, will require you to walk back to beginning, but not that far. Our guide was great and very informative.
Zachary, thanks for the honest heads up on the walking and stairs, that helps the next folks come prepared. Glad your guide took good care of you and kept it informative. Appreciate you coming out.
Cody was a great wealth of knowledge and kept the tour entertaining!
Cody knows his stuff and loves what he does, so this is great to read. Keeping people entertained while they actually learn something is the sweet spot. Thanks for spending the evening with us.
Tour guide was great and very informative
Can't beat a ghost tour for date night. Glad your guide made it a good one and kept you in the loop the whole way. Thanks for choosing us for the evening.
We had an amazing ghost guide! She was very knowledgeable and sweet! She took her time answering questions and explaining the history. This was one of the best ghost tours I’ve been on, and she provided these rods that you could ask the ghost questions, and they would answer. This was a first for me, but made the experience that much better. If you are looking for a Vet owned ghost tour, I would highly recommend them!
Gabriel, thank you for pointing out the Vet owned part. I'm a veteran and I started this company from nothing, so that recognition means a lot, especially right next to you calling us one of the best ghost tours you've been on. Those rods get everybody. Glad your guide took her time and answered all your questions. I appreciate the strong recommendation.
Rachel was a great tour guide with a passion for the history behind the ghost stories of Nashville. The capital was fascinating and 100% haunted. We had a great time!
Really fun walk getting some history mixed with some ghost stories. Rachel was very knowledgeable and friendly.
