This was one of the worst...
This was one of the worst experiences and do not recommend. Paid 35 dollars for a man to tell stories that had barely anything to do with ghosts or crime for 30 minutes when the tour was supposed to last 3 times as long. You could barely hear him and he walked so fast leaving half the crown behind. Do not waste your time or money on this.
Operator response
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the tour fell so far short of expectations, particularly with the shortened duration, difficulty hearing your guide, and the pace of the group. A tour scheduled for 90 minutes should not conclude after roughly 30 minutes, and keeping the group together and ensuring everyone can hear are basic parts of the experience. We’ll be sharing these concerns with our team for review.

An enjoyable walking tour!
I booked this tour having never been to Nashville before and having never done any prior ghost tours, so I really had no idea what to expect.
Our guide was Joshua. He was punctual, upbeat, professional, and knowledgeable about the area. 10/10
Almost everyone in the group had trouble finding the meeting spot. This is not a deal breaker, but you should be aware that uber drivers will get lost and Google maps may struggle as well. Use the link that the company emails to you after booking, and share it with your driver if you're not driving yourself. Allow extra time for this.
The walk is not strenuous, I think anyone of average health can easily manage. The pacing is good, allowing time for photos.
As a first time visitor to the city, I enjoyed seeing all the different locations and appreciated Joshua's recommendations for things to do on my trip. It would be a nice walking tour even without any ghost stories.
The stories are entertaining and unusual.
I would do this tour again if I came back to Nashville with friends or family.
Operator response
Thank you for the fantastic and thoughtful review! We’re so glad Joshua made your first ghost tour—and your first visit to Nashville—such an enjoyable experience with his knowledge, professionalism, and recommendations. We also really appreciate the helpful tips for future guests about using the meeting-location link and allowing extra time to arrive. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed both the walk through Nashville and the unusual stories along the way. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Joshua, and we’d love to have you join us again!

Ghost Walk in Nashville
Nester was a great guide. If you like history this tour has a ton of it. Nester explains it all so well with passion and energy. He will also share many examples of activities seen by other tour groups and locals. And he has some great pictures at the end. Very good tour

Double check the meeting location.
If I could give zero stars, I would. We were instructed to meet at the Alvin C. York statue, but entering that into GPS directed us to a completely different location across town. Because of the incorrect directions, we missed our tour. Even though we purchased ticket protection and the issue was caused by their inaccurate meeting instructions—not our mistake—they refused to issue a refund. The actual meeting location is on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd./James Robertson Parkway. Hopefully this helps prevent someone else from having the same experience.
Operator response
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry you missed the tour and understand how disappointing that must have been, especially while visiting Nashville.
The Alvin C. York statue at 6th Avenue North and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. is the correct meeting location provided for this tour. Unfortunately, GPS and mapping apps can sometimes direct guests incorrectly when searching for landmarks, which can create a frustrating situation.
We also understand the confusion surrounding ticket protection. It is designed to cover certain qualifying circumstances outside a guest’s control, such as illness or travel-related disruptions, rather than every instance in which a tour is missed.
We’re sorry this experience caused frustration and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the information for both you and future guests.

Terrible tour company
Can’t speak to the quality of the tour but I can speak to the reliability of the tour company. They cancelled at the time of the tour. They said it was because there was a flood warning. There was no flood warning. I was in town all day. I did not get notified of the cancellation. There was no rain; no thunder; no lightning . . No real excuse. Most especially since the description said the tour would move forward regardless of weather (this description was changed online immediately after my call with them). . My recommendation is find another tour; find another tour company. I’ll get a refund but a night of vacation was wasted. Don’t trust them. They are not dependable or trustworthy.
Operator response
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re very sorry that your tour was canceled at the scheduled start time and that you did not receive advance notice. We understand how frustrating that is, especially when you’ve planned part of your vacation around the experience. Weather-related decisions are made with guest and guide safety in mind and can sometimes be based on changing local conditions, but we recognize that the communication surrounding this cancellation did not meet the standard we want for our guests. We’re glad your refund is being processed, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can review what happened and improve how cancellations are communicated.

Entertaining and interesting tour
I booked this tour with my teenage daughters in mind. They love horror movies. This was the 16+ tour. The content wasn't gory or terrible, but there was mention of the brothels and prostitution, which made it more adult-like, but nothing terrible. Our guide was friendly and entertaining. It wasn't a super "scary" tour, but was interesting, and it was a really fun experience to hear some different stories about the city at night. I would recommend.
Operator response
Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re glad you and your daughters enjoyed experiencing a different side of Nashville at night. Murder in Music City is designed for an older audience, with some more mature historical themes, while still focusing on storytelling rather than gore. We’re happy to hear your guide kept the evening friendly, entertaining, and interesting. Thanks for joining us and for the recommendation!

Nestor gives the best tour
Nestor was an outstanding ghost tour guide! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humor that kept the tour entertaining from start to finish. His storytelling brought Nashville’s haunted history to life, and he made the experience fun without taking away from the spooky atmosphere. You could tell he was passionate about the city’s history and genuinely enjoyed sharing it with the group. I would highly recommend taking a tour with Nestor if you’re looking for a memorable and entertaining night!
