The food selection was excellent and very delicious. Our guide, Simon, was very personable, knowledgeable and just a nice person. I enjoyed our group of five people. Very friendly.
Lovely small and quiet boat. Entertaining and interesting commentary.
Raya was very knowledgeable and professional. The food choices were delicious. We really enjoyed this tour.
The toor was very good, however too much food in a short period of time. We skipped the ice cream. Simon was very interesting telling us about the city. My only complaint is that it is uncomfortable eating while Simon watched us. He said due to policy he was not able to have anything to eat.
Usually a good tour includes some local history and area information. This one was lacking. And you need to really enjoy oysters on this one (one lady loved them and ate most of them!). Loved the seafood chowder. Not a lot of walking.
Izzy was great- we told her upfront that we had a time constraint and she made sure we still got all our food :). It was a varied selection of local foods from harborfront restaurants, with some history and local stories along the way. She made sure we had the option to take either of the last 2 to go if we were full already (we were!). Definitely recommend.
Raman was a fantastic guide. We had great company and best of all great food. The donair was soo delicious and sooo filling. All the food was great.
What a lovely tour with great food and lots history. Our guide Emre was funny and very knowledgeable about the history of Halifax. He took us to several restaurant spots that served delicious food. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like! We especially loved the donair and have already looked to see who has it in Florida. Thank you Emre!!
Emre will be so happy to hear your kind words — his sense of humor and passion for sharing Halifax’s history and local food scene truly make the experience memorable.
Food is very good mostly seafood. Some walking involved. My guide Layton was excellent. I was actually on the tour myself
It was a nice walk and all the food was good. I even got to experience a new food, the donair. Our guide discussed history and architecture, and had answers to our query.
