Our tour to Teotihuacán was absolutely amazing! Our guide Ninelth was so knowledgeable, flexible, and easy to talk to. She brought such great energy throughout the entire experience and made everything feel comfortable and fun. Our driver was excellent as well, professional, friendly, and made the whole trip smooth and stress-free. We learned so much during the tour and truly had an unforgettable experience. 10/10 service all around. I would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting and would book with them again without hesitation!
The tour consists of extensive walks around the remains of 3 pyramid temples for The Sun, The Moon and The Feathered Serpent and a visit to La Gruta. It is fascinating to see such meticulous precision in aligning the pyramids to sunrise and sunset and the solictices, aligned to each other and finally aligned to the mountains behind them. And like another familiar monument Stonehenge, no one knows who built the pyramids. So which forgotten civilization calculated in detail the movement of the sun and the periodicity of the solicitices and built the pyramids stone by stone, line by line? And how did they use mica, mined thosands of miles away, develop color for the murals, use obsidian glass in their architecture? So many questions will arise after viewing the pyramids, explained in such detail by our guide Ninelth, tracing the history, the excavation and the alignment of the structures among several other things she addressed. The Moon temple has but about a few score of steps but you will feel every one in your legs. :) . After climbing areas one is allowed to climb in 2 pyramids, the views are grand. The tour ends at La Gruta with a perfect lunch in a rare cave. Vegetarian options are limited but very well prepared and the staff were ready to convert quite a few items to vegetarian on request. Our guide Ninelth and Van driver Carlos were excellent..very helpful, full of insights into a civilization long gone, not rushing us, giving us ample time to climb and get down the steps. Well worth the experience.
Very interesting history we learned so much about the various different groups that inhabited the area Amazing that it is still here today
