Why choose us? We offer a full guided tour of Teotihuacan’s three main temples: the Sun, Moon, and Quetzalcoatl. From the very beginning, you’ll be welcomed by craftsmen local to the region to learn about the importance of obsidian and its trade in this ancient city. This will set the tone for the rest of the tour before heading to the Quetzalcoatl Temple, where the 3 km hike begins, ending at the Pyramid of the Moon. You will walk around the temples and even climb two of them as you observe the native vegetation and learn about the rise and fall of this amazing city. Before the sun gets too hot, you’ll be able to enjoy a traditional Mexican meal for lunch at La Gruta Restaurante (food not included), one of Teotihuacan’s most iconic and unique restaurants, located inside a natural volcanic cave. This experience connects Teotihuacan’s ancient history with modern culture and will help you fully comprehend how this society came to be, how it ended, and how we still remember it today.

You will be picked up from your hotel, Airbnb, or accommodation located within our pickup area: Polanco, Roma Norte, Roma Sur, Condesa, Hipódromo, Zona Rosa, Col. Cuauhtémoc, Centro Histórico and surrounding neighborhoods. If you are staying in Coyoacán, the airport area, Estado de México, or any location outside our pickup zone, we will provide a convenient meeting point or offer hotel pickup for an additional fee. We will confirm your pickup details the day before the tour (pickup time, location, vehicle information, etc.). Please note that this is a shared tour with shared transportation. Pickup times are assigned based on your location and typically range from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM.

Great experience. Itza was a great guide and I left the temples/pyramids a lot more knowledgeable. Included a breakfast at La Gruta before the tour.
Very good experience with the travel and tour. Would probably look to skip the restaurant next time as I disliked the food and also found it very pricey. All in all the pyramid tour was very pleasant, and educational. Our guide was patient and spoke great English. Driver was also great. Coffee and breakfast was good too.
This experience was very smooth and hassle free from the start. They picked us up from directly from our place and we headed to a artisan store where we got to experience a little bit of the history of teotihucan and got some bread and coffee a small bite before we headed to the archeological site. The guide Oscar was very nice and insightful and answered all of our questions. The Driver Aaron was very kind and also answered all of our questions and was a great driver. Would recommend the value of this experience and everyone was very kind.

Exceptional experience! We booked with private drive and Aaron picked us up at our hotel. This was so convenient. And Oscar our guide at the Pyramids was so knowledgeable. He really gave a great tour (and helped me with yhe steep stairs). We also stopped at an artisan shop for some local cultural information. Then we ended at the Gruta for lunch. The entire day was great.
This was a marvelous experience. Our guide Oscar was extremely knowledgeable and gave so much history in very entertaining way. We could climb the two pyramids and Oscar helped me down when it was a bit steep. We had Aaron as our private driver to the site and this was so convenient for a pickup at our hotel. They also stopped at a local artisan stop to understand some of the local and historic crafts. Then we concluded at la Gruta for lunch. All in all a great day.

The whole experience was amazing from the start of the end. Pick up effortless and picked us up straight from our hotel. Admission to the pyramids was $210mx. Took about 6 hours for the whole trip. Great weather and very friendly staff. Our tour guide Ricardo was amazing and well knowledge on the history of the pyramids and answered every question we had. Would highly recommended this experience. Food at La Cueva restaurant was also included and was amazing. 10/10 recommend.
