I joined the class solo but I enjoyed it a lot! The teachers spoke perfect English and they helped me cooking as well. The dishes were great and decent amount I think. Thank you!

We have three shifts in a day. The morning shift starts from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm The afternoon shift starts from 1:30 pm to 4 pm. The evening Shift starts from 4:30 pm to 8 pm At Nepal Cooking School, we value the love for learning equally as the love for cooking. Therefore, we do not just teach you to cook but appreciate the whole process of picking the right ingredients to create a fantastic meal. Our courses are excellent for first-timers, with the friendly environment and hands-on activities during the workshop which are easy to follow. Along the way, you’ll get an insight into the daily hustle of the Nepalese lifestyle and even make some new friends.

Best cooking class in Kathmandu!
FANTASTIC!! Cannot recommend this experience enough, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and everything we made turned out delicious. They offer multiple menu options and allow a few things to be mixed and match so you can create a meal that is perfect for your group. Wonderful way to experience local cuisine.

Fantastic authentic Nepali cooking experience
A fantastic authentic cooking experience with three lovely and friendly chefs! We cooked thukpa, daal chapati, paneer momo and carrot pudding. They were all delicious! I would highly recommend

Not a great experience
Maybe they've gotten complacent or maybe this was a one-off but of the many cooking classes I've taken, this ranks amongst the worst. The food was fine. It was the lack of professionalism that got to me. The instructor openly laughed at a few of my questions and when not actively instructing, was constantly on her phone. Texting, scrolling through videos at full volume, you name it. She even did this sitting right across the table from me. When I asked her if she'd been cooking a long time, she answered "Not really." I would have appreciated a little more information on the background of each dish but they were overall fine. This class did not include a trip to the market as in the TripAdvisor description. I also never received the emailed recipes as promised. When it came time to pay, I was informed that their credit card machine was broken and I'd have to find an ATM. When pressed on it, they admitted that they didn't actually know how to work the machine. Not cool when the class costs 4,500 rupees. Hopefully this instructor isn't representative but I wouldn't recommend this class to anyone.
