Olympia was amazing. You get to see the remains of one of the 7 ancient wonders. The VR was nice but at times got a little confusing. Cool place to see
The tour left on time and the guide explained how to download, install and use the audio self guide app well. The Olympiad site was worth a visit.
Overall was a good day. The VR isn’t great but the staff assisted and showed us step by step how to log into our phones and get the QR code to access the site. Only concern was due to extreme sunlight the glare made it difficult viewing
Well organised, Aircon on the coach was needed. Having the tickets to Olympia included enabled us to skip the line. The VR App we were able to download from the guide which was very helpful. An excellent app when going around the site. The timing was as advertised and everything was very prompt.
Chrissie was a great guide, the program was exciting, everything worked out excellently administratively, the text of the VR app was quite informative, the animations were less convincing, but the handling was—contrary to other comments—very simple. A bit expensive, I paid 55€, the transfer and the admission cost 35€ together, 20€ for VR and fees for TripAdvisor seem excessive.
Absolutely recommended! Would love to come back again
We had a great experience on our Olympia VR tour! The VR program worked well, and it was interesting to feel immersed in how Olympia was during ancient times. We did have to turn on cell data to download it though. Many people from our cruise ship were on this tour, but the bus did not have enough seats. So 6 of us had to wait another 30-45 minutes for the next bus, which was frustrating. The guides made sure to take good care of us when we arrived later than the rest of the group, and ensured we had the VR guide and tickets, and knew where to go. Boarding busses for the return trip to the port was also a little chaotic. But overall a great experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting!
it's a pity that the VR was not synchronized with the geolocation... wherever you were, it showed you the Temple of Hercules...
This is the home of the Olympics set in a beautiful calm tranquil area with so much history a must see place.
Fantastic tour and transport. George was exceptionally helpful and attentive to everyone’s needs. The VR app was a bit funky on our iPhones but was helpful, great operator!
