Take in jaw-dropping views of one of the most iconic alpine lakes in the world, with plenty of time to soak it all in—no rushing, no stress. Walk along the shoreline and scenic viewpoints, learning about the area’s geology, wildlife, and Indigenous history as the landscape unfolds around you. Climb the Rockpile viewpoint (optional but highly recommended) for that classic postcard view—arguably one of the best photo spots in the Canadian Rockies. Capture unforgettable photos, whether you’re after wide mountain panoramas, reflections on the water, or quiet moments tucked away from the crowds. Enjoy a slower, more intentional pace, designed to help you truly connect with the place rather than just tick it off a list.
Step into a world shaped by water and time at Johnston Canyon, one of Banff National Park’s most enchanting natural wonders. Follow a scenic canyon trail along turquoise streams and dramatic limestone walls, with elevated catwalks that wind right through the heart of the canyon. Witness powerful waterfalls up close, feeling the cool mist of the Lower and Upper Falls as they thunder through narrow rock corridors. Learn the story of the canyon, from how it was carved by glacial meltwater to the unique geology and ecosystems that thrive here. Enjoy peaceful moments in nature, with opportunities to slow down, listen to rushing water, and take in the forested surroundings. Capture stunning photos of waterfalls, moss-covered cliffs, and crystal-clear pools—beautiful in every season. This experience is equal parts easy adventure and natural wonder, perfect for travelers who want to explore one of Banff’s most accessible yet awe-inspiring landscapes.
Experience the magic of Lake Louise, where turquoise waters meet soaring peaks and timeless alpine beauty. Arrive at the world-famous Lake Louise, taking in sweeping views of Victoria Glacier, Mount Victoria, and the glacier-fed lake glowing in unreal shades of blue. Stroll the lakeshore trail, enjoying an easy, scenic walk perfect for photos, quiet moments, and learning about the area’s natural and cultural history. Soak up the grandeur of the Fairmont Lake Louise, an iconic mountain hotel set right on the lake’s edge, where classic elegance meets rugged wilderness. Explore the Fairmont grounds, with time to admire the architecture, browse the lobby, or simply enjoy the views from one of the most spectacular hotel settings in the world. Capture postcard-perfect photos, from mirror-like lake reflections to glacier backdrops and elegant hotel perspectives. This experience offers the perfect balance of natural wonder and refined mountain charm.
Step into the heart of the Canadian Rockies with a visit to Banff Town, where small-town charm meets mountain adventure. Explore Banff Avenue, the town’s main street, lined with boutique shops, cozy cafés, local galleries, and restaurants serving everything from casual bites to gourmet mountain fare. Discover Banff’s history and culture, with opportunities to visit museums, heritage sites, and learn stories of the town’s founding and its place in the Rockies. Soak in the stunning mountain views that surround the town from almost every corner, with peaks towering just beyond the rooftops. Enjoy outdoor activities right at your doorstep, from casual walks along the Bow River to renting bikes, canoes, or even embarking on short scenic hikes nearby. Capture the town’s charm in photos, from quaint streetscapes and mountain backdrops to charming local architecture and lively street scenes. Banff Town is the perfect blend of adventure, culture, and mountain-town coziness.
Step into a hidden gem of Kootenay National Park at Marble Canyon, where narrow gorges and rushing water create a dramatic alpine playground. Follow a scenic trail along the canyon, crossing bridges and walking along catwalks that hug the limestone cliffs. Marvel at rushing waterfalls and crystal-clear pools, carved over millennia by the force of glacial meltwater. Explore fascinating geological formations, including smooth marble walls, deep fissures, and unique rock patterns. Enjoy peaceful moments in nature, with opportunities to spot wildlife, listen to the echo of the canyon, and take in the lush forest surroundings. Capture stunning photos, from towering cliffs and turquoise waters to intimate close-ups of textures and natural details. This experience is a short, easy-to-moderate adventure that feels both secluded and dramatic—perfect for travelers who want to step off the beaten path and explore one of the Rockies’ most photogenic and awe-inspiring canyons

I would highly recommend this tour! We had an amazing time with seeing the beautiful natural highlights of Banff National Park in just one day. Marco was fantastic with recommendations for best spots to take pictures away from the crowds, best places to eat in Banff and he went out of his way to enhance our tour. The bus is comfortable, Marco played great music and the view is great. Marco also offered water and hiking poles for our comfort. Thumbs up for this tour and Marco!
Marco Morales From: Banff Wilderness He was one of the best guide. I do highly recommend the company. Great spots to visit. Great price 👍 great guide 👍 Thank you very much.
Marco is kind, flexible, and professional at his job. We had a great time, and I highly recommend going with Marco.
We were so happy with our tour today with Marco! He reached the night before our trip to confirm the pick up time and address which was much appreciated. We were travelling in a group of six Everybody had an amazing time! He shared fax about the local areas as we were driving through them also ask questions and got to know little about each of the passengers and where we are from and other things we were doing while we were in the area, it felt like travelling around with a good friend for the day. Our time at any of the stops was never cut short due to downs with traffic or congestion in parking areas, he also joined our group at the beginning of each stop to show us less congested places get great photos, and took photos of our group for us, which was so helpful. I definitely think their customer service and value in comparison to other tours easily makes them a number one choice!
Had a spectacular time on this tour. During the drive Grace was fun and knowledgeable. Her love for the region really shines through as she talks about the different animals, experiences, and history. Her stories add fun while not just boring you with details. There’s enough time at every spot and you never feel rushed. Highly recommend!
Grace was a great guide with a sense of humor and knowledgeable about the area. Only disappointment was the haze over the area from the fires which prevented seeing the mountains clearly.
This was a great experience as a solo traveler! Brooke was a knowledgeable guide and she provided a lot of context along the way. Our expectations were explicitly clear at every stop. With the shifting weather, a hot beverage was a nice touch. One note: itinerary is unclear and/or didn’t quite line up with what’s listed, but I still had a really solid time. I would highly recommend this tour and think you’ll enjoy it!
The guide really explains me and hikes with me!! Not another typical tour that just drop you out and wait in the bus. So if you are thinking to book with this tour, book it!!!
If you are looking for an authentic Banff experience, book with Banff Wilderness! What made this tour truly special was the effort Marco put into finding hidden gems. He took us to stunning, breathtaking spots that were completely away from the usual tourist crowds, which made the experience feel so personal and peaceful. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be recommending this tour to our family and friends. Hands down the best decision we made on our trip!
Marco did a superb job driving the group through the area and providing us with fun and entertaining facts for several hours. He was courteous, friendly, and helpful to all the tour members, from young to older ones. Given the duration of the tour, the guide, transportation, and the number of beautiful places visited I'd said this was a great deal. I highly recommend it!
