The welcome service offered by the historic Emilian winery CHIARLI offers guided tours of the vineyards, the cellar and wine tasting at the prestigious Tenuta Villa Cialdini in Castelvetro di Modena.
The property located in the heart of the hills dedicated to the production of Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvero DOC, extends over more than 50 hectares and is located a few kilometers from the ancient village of Castelvetro di Modena.
The duration of the visit is about an hour and a half, includes the observation of the vineyards, the explanation of the stages of winemaking and the tasting of four labels from the Cleto Chiarli Tenute Agricole line of excellence, the flagship of the Company.

Going downhill with the new guide and gallery tour
This was our second visit and, unfortunately the more disappointing one. The guide was aloof - he left our group of 10 for 25 minutes with a tiny pour of wine and we had to go find him, on his computer and he acted surprised we were ready for the next tasting.
The new museum is neat but there was minimal information on actual lambrusco process which was disappointing, despite the opportunity to see the bottling line on action.
Overall, a 5/10 and going downhill.

Educational Lambrusco tasting
We had a very nice tasting! Our guide told us a lot about the Lambrusco process, the production and could tell us a lot about the differences between their wines and other (Italian) wines. Absolutely recommended!

A family tradition that is a guarantee of quality
Interesting visit to the historical-narrative part of the winery and the product processing area. Tasting of three wines (white, Lambrusco Sorbara, and Lambrusco Grasparossa) each with its own peculiarities and characteristics but all of excellent quality.
The guide, Edoardo Chiarli, illustrated with clarity and friendliness the history of the family and the organization of the estate in relation to the territory. Very positive experience and recommended to everyone

Wonderful family owned winery. Amazing wines!
Absolutely fantastic wine tour with Sarah. We understood the process of Lambrusco making and tasted some amazing wines. Completely converted! My new favourite wine. Would highly recommend this winery. Family owned for 4 generations so really amazing to learn about.
