Guided Snorkelling Tour in Jervis Bay

1000/10 recommend! Honestly one of the best experiences we had in Jervis Bay and such an amazing way to explore paradise! 🐠🩵 Scotty was absolutely brilliant. So warm, friendly and funny, and made the whole experience feel really relaxed and comfortable, even for complete beginners. He was so patient and made sure everyone felt included throughout! We saw SO much incredible marine life, including cuttlefish, wobbegong sharks, Port Jackson sharks, angel fish and loads more! Scotty is unbelievably knowledgeable about the animals and local ecosystems, and I really loved how much respect he has for the wildlife. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does 🤿🙌🏽 He also took loads of photos for us along the way, which was such a lovely bonus as we now have so many amazing memories captured! Also a special mention to the lovely Emma too, who had prepared a little picnic with fresh fruit and delicious cake for us afterwards. Such a thoughtful touch! The water was absolutely stunning and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better morning. If you’re visiting Jervis Bay, this is an absolute must-do. Thank you both so much! 🦈🐠🐡🤿🩵

Our group of six had an amazing three-hour snorkelling experience with ACWA in Jervis Bay! Scott was a fantastic instructor who patiently explained everything we needed to know, including safety tips, the weather conditions and water temperature. He guided us through the beautiful underwater world and provided excellent snorkelling equipment. The afternoon tea was also a lovely, thoughtful touch. Scott even took photos for us, capturing wonderful memories of our day. We all had such a great time and would highly recommend ACWA to anyone visiting Jervis Bay. Thank you, Scott, for an unforgettable experience!

The tour with Scott was amazing! He was professional yet laid-back, which immediately put our group of four at ease. He was able to bring out the best in each of us and provided plenty of positive reinforcement throughout the experience. Scott was extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of sharing information in a way that was easy for everyone to understand. With our group ranging in age from 14 to 56, he made sure everyone felt included and engaged. Scott is the real deal, was an excellent water guide and spent a lot of time showing us all the wonderful marine life we saw, describing their behaviour and habitat. He was very good with less experienced snorkellers and we enjoyed freshly homemade morning tea afterwards. We snorkelled from Murray’s beach to the boat ramp and saw a huge variety of fish, including different wrasse, blue and green groper, cuttlefish, Port Jackson and Wobbegongs sharks. The water was beautiful aqua blue and we had great visibility.

I had a fantastic day exploring the Great Southern Reef with Scott, and I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Scott was an exceptional guide who really met me where I was at—both in terms of confidence and skill level. He made me feel comfortable and engaged throughout the experience, which made the whole adventure so much more enjoyable. The marine life was incredible, and Scott's in-depth knowledge really brought the ecosystem to life. He shared fascinating insights that made me appreciate just how vibrant and complex the reef environment is. But the experience didn't end on the water. The fika afterwards with Scott, Emma, and Bon was such a lovely touch. Those carrot muffins were absolutely delicious, and it really felt like you were spending time with a dedicated family business rather than just a commercial tour operator.

Scott was an excellent guide and the whole experience felt very safe and relaxed. The location was chosen on the day depending on weather conditions and where we went off Hyams beach was full of life. We several port Jackson sharks, a wobbegong, many types of fish including blue gropers and lots more. If anyone is looking to spend a few hours in the water in Jervis Bay this is the tour to do. The wetsuits meant we didn’t feel the cold at all and the the equipment was well organised and in good quality. Just bring yourself and a towel! Emma provides home made cakes for afterwards when we got together to discuss what we saw! This tour caters for people who have never snorkelled before and experienced nature lovers!

I had such a great time on this tour! Scott was an amazing guide – really friendly, experienced and clearly very knowledgeable about the marine life in the area. He showed us lots of different sea creatures and explained everything in a really interesting way. One of my favourite moments was seeing and holding a shark egg, which was such a cool experience! After the tour, we were also given some food, which was a nice way to finish. Overall, it was a really fun and memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Had the most incredible time in Jervis Bay on a snorkelling trip with Scott from ACWA. We could not believe the wildlife we saw in our 3 hour snorkelling trip, including sharks, rays, cuttlefish, a turtle and more!! We felt very safe the whole time thanks to Scott and his great knowledge of the local area, ocean and the animals we encountered. His genuine passion for the ocean and its inhabitants was incredible. It was a very special trip and we can't recommend them enough.
