Such a cool experience!! We descended 12 flights into the cave. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He gave us time to take pictures but it was clear he was on a schedule. Climbing back up 12 flights isn't for those with mobility issues but we were pretty much able to take our time climbing out of the cave. Would highly recommend this experience if you are in the area.
Although brief, this was a very interesting tour. Impressive sights. Great staff. Loved the trail around the premises afterwards.

We visited Doolin Cave on August 19th, 2026. The parking lot was easy to access and the receptionist was very kind. You do want to make sure that you book the cave tour ahead of time because we observed that there was not enough room for some visitors to fit on a tour. We didn't eat there, but the cafe on site had several healthy food options on the menu that gave us some ideas of new foods to make at home. The tour guideo wos excellent. Kim was very kind and informative, and she handled the group very well. The tour is very manageable, and the stalactite is amazing. Would recommend visiting this location.
Doolin Cave is one of those things that left a strong impression on me. The visit was well beyond my expectations. Descending into the cave, with its narrow passages and the humid and silent atmosphere, already creates a particular sensation. But the moment I will not forget was when, just like those who discovered it for the first time, they left us for a few moments in total darkness. Then, suddenly, they turned on the lights. And there, in front of us, the large stalactite appeared: imposing, beautiful, almost unreal. It was a moment of pure emotion, a true collective "wow". Seeing that majestic natural formation emerge from the darkness was magical and touching at the same time. The only downside was the guide: although I had asked her to speak a little slower, she did not do it, and my wife had to translate many explanations for me. A shame, because otherwise everything was really well-organized and interesting. If you are in the Doolin area, do not miss it. It is an authentic, exciting experience and overall above expectations.
Doolin Cave tour is excellent! Well worth going to on the way to the Cliffs of Moher. One of the world’s largest stalactites and the story of the discovery of the caves is wild.

Wonderful gem of a spot in the middle of nowhere. Price was reasonable and the tour leader hugely knowledgable and interesting. This is certainly worth checking out if in the area. They limitthe size of the groups so it doesn't get crowded and the general experience was wonderful. If you plan to go and have kids check first as they have a minimum age for child entry and there are 100 + steps involved which are great for decending but not so good on the return if you have any medical challenges but certainly well worth a visit.
