Cardiff bike tour with Mark
Mark was our guide for the Guided Cycle Tour of Cardiff at the University of South Wales. He was extremely knowledgeable, adaptive and friendly. He asked what we had seen in Cardiff. We advised him that we already toured Cardiff Bay.
He offered a different itinerary. We agreed. We also mentioned that we are Doctor Who fans. He then took us to Temple of Peace building where we learned that 7 episodes of Doctor Who were filmed there.
Next, we cycled through Bute Park. It’s now a community park, once owned by the rich Bute family. It's a beautiful park with several paths for biking and walking.
Mark brought us to the beautiful Llandaff Cathedral where it just happened that a wedding was about to begin so we weren't able to go into the cathedral. We saw the bride arrive and then Mark took us for a beverage stop at Insole Court. Insole Court is a wonderful historic site where many movies and TV shows were filmed.
After our break, we biked back through Bute park. We had a quick stop for a Welsh cake in one of the shops in an arcade in Cardiff. We ended our tour where we started.
Overall, Mark provided many wonderful things to see on the tour. He even had a book of articles and photos of the places we were visiting. This augmented the tour nicely.
Mark was a wonderful tour guide. We highly recommend him for your next bicycle tour in Cardiff.

Highly recommend!
I had such a wonderful time with Mark on my D!NG cycle tour! He was incredibly accommodating, kind, fun, knowledgeable and informative. He also gave me some wonderful recommendations on things to do in town, all of which I did, and all of which turned out to be highlights of my trip! Highly recommend.

A very enjoyable way to get acquainted with Cardiff.
Mark was very knowledgeable and personable. He showed us all over without talking AT us and without talking non-stop. A very enjoyable way to get acquainted with Cardiff. Thank you!

Excellent Tour
Excellent bike tour through the city centre, parks and to Cardiff Bay. Most of the route off road and along cycle paths. We got to see parts of Cardiff that we would never have visited. The bikes were really good and it was an easy going pace and flat route. Mark really friendly providing interesting information. Lovely welsh cake and we enjoyed a good chat on the coffee break. Highly recommend.
Operator response
Thank you for the lovely review. Really pleased you enjoyed it. By all means come back one day!
