3 days in Dublin

Out of the 35 activities, we were only able to do 12; it is quite comprehensive and intense. I recommend the bus tour, the EPIC museum, the Guinness Museum, the Rock 'n' Roll museum, and the cathedrals. We were disappointed that the Book of Kells was not included in the PASS. One of the major attractions in Dublin.

Operator response

Did not get what we paid for

We paid for a one day hop on hop off see the city tour that listed "everything included" which was supposed to included admission to several sites. When we got on the bus they told us to keep our tickets, which we did. But when we arrived at some of our "admission included sites" we were told that the tour company was supposed to give us separate tickets and the bus driver couldn't print them even though our confirmation clearly said what was included. On another note we found out later in the day , 4 ish that the bus we had been riding on with the understanding that it would return to our original point, because at no time were we informed that the buses didn't continue in a loop for the entire day, we had get off the bus, pay for a taxi to get back to our cruise port. The brochure they give you when you arrive has first and last bus times per stop, but it's not up to date. The driver of the bus we were on told us "the last bus that was stopping at our return destination stop was at 3:30 (brochure said 5:15) and we should get off and get a taxi". That was $46 we should not have had to spend. If you're cruising and using this service ask too many questions because they're not going to be informative or helpful. Check to make sure the ticket they print for you is correct. Don't assume they care

Operator response

We're sorry to hear about your experience. We'd like to better understand what happened and determine which product was purchased, as we'd like to investigate this further. We'd also be happy to look into the bus schedule information you received on the day. Please contact us at reviews@gocity.com with your booking details, the city you visited, and your date of travel so our team can investigate this with the relevant partner if applicable.

Should be called Ireland pass

The pass is a great idea to see several of the the popular attractions around Dublin. My big issue is how many of the attractions are far from Dublin like game of thrones studio tour, is 90 minutes away and doesn’t include transportation, there are a few others that are a day trip.

Operator response

Thank you so much for your feedback — we’re really happy to hear you loved the idea of the pass and that it was such a great way for you to explore so many of Dublin’s most popular attractions. We really appreciate you sharing your experience .Feedback like this is incredibly valuable to us, and we will make sure it’s passed on to the relevant team for review. We also encourage customers to group attractions together where possible, to help make the most of their time and travel plans and get the best possible experience from the pass. Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review.

GoCity Dublin won't get you into Guinness Brewery

The GoCity Dublin pass is a bit of a scam. The main reason we bought it was to do the Guinness brewery tour. I checked the Guinness site to make sure there was availability before buying the GoCity pass. There were dozens of time slots for the 2 days we were there. I bought the GoCity passes and immediately went to book through the GoCity app. Nothing available. Checked Guinness and still dozens of spots open. Maybe Guinness only allocates a small number to GoCity each day? I don't know but that should have been disclosed. Wasted hundreds of dollars on these expensive passes and my family of 7 missed out on the tour. We won't use GoCity again.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re so sorry your family missed out on the Guinness Storehouse. While pass-holder slots can occasionally differ from general admission availability, we always want our guests to have a smooth and enjoyable experience. Wherever possible, we encourage customers to book in advance, and our 'Know Before You Go' guide has helpful tips on securing slots. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you'd like us to look into your account details, please feel free to connect with us at reviews@gocity.com.
